CS Carpati Covasna 0-3 ACS Kids Tampa Brasov: Clinical Visitors Secure Clean-Sheet Win

ACS Kids Tampa Brasov delivered a composed and clinical away performance to beat CS Carpati Covasna 3-0 in Romanian Liga III on October 24, 2026. The visitors scored in key moments, defended their lead with discipline and added a third goal after the break to secure a convincing win that underlined their efficiency in front of goal.

Match overview

CS Carpati Covasna began the match with plenty of intent, looking to use home advantage and push forward through midfield. But ACS Kids Tampa Brasov were well organised from the start, keeping their defensive shape and looking to strike on the counter. The visitors took the lead inside the opening quarter-hour when a quick attacking move cut through the Covasna defence, and they doubled their advantage before half-time with a well-taken second goal.

The second half saw Covasna try to respond, but their possession rarely translated into clear chances. Kids Tampa Brasov managed the game intelligently, slowing the tempo when needed and threatening whenever they won the ball in transition. The third goal arrived after the break and effectively ended the contest, allowing the visitors to see out the remaining minutes with a clean sheet and three important points.

Key moments

• Early opener: ACS Kids Tampa Brasov struck first with a sharp attacking sequence, catching Covasna before they could settle into the match.
• Second goal before half-time: The visitors doubled their lead with a composed finish, giving them a comfortable cushion at the interval.
• Covasna's response: The home side pushed forward after the restart and won a few set pieces, but the away defence stood firm.
• Third goal: A counter-attacking move after the break produced the decisive third goal, removing any realistic hope of a Covasna comeback.
• Clean sheet secured: The visitors defended their box well in the final stages and limited Covasna to efforts from distance.

Tactical story

The match followed a familiar pattern: Covasna had more of the ball, while Kids Tampa Brasov had the better chances. The visitors sat in a compact block, denied space in central areas and forced Covasna to play wide, where crosses were easier to defend. When they won possession, they moved the ball forward quickly and attacked the spaces left by Covasna's advancing full-backs.

That game plan worked almost perfectly. Kids Tampa Brasov were efficient rather than expansive, but they showed quality in the final third and took their goals at important moments. Covasna, by contrast, struggled to find a way through the middle and became increasingly frustrated as the match wore on. The home side's effort was evident, but the lack of a cutting edge proved costly against a well-drilled opponent.

Standout performers

ACS Kids Tampa Brasov's defensive unit was excellent, with the centre-backs dominant in the air and the goalkeeper commanding the penalty area. The midfield worked hard to screen the back line and launch counter-attacks, while the forward players showed composure in front of goal. For CS Carpati Covasna, the midfield kept pushing and the goalkeeper made several saves to prevent the scoreline from becoming heavier, but the team lacked the final pass needed to break down a stubborn defence.

League impact

The 3-0 win gives ACS Kids Tampa Brasov a valuable away victory and a clean sheet, two ingredients that can build confidence in Romanian Liga III. For CS Carpati Covasna, the home defeat is a reminder that possession without penetration is rarely enough at this level. The result strengthens the visitors' position and leaves Covasna searching for more creativity in the attacking third as they prepare for their next fixture.
