Tactical Story

Al Rayyan Reserves showed remarkable tactical flexibility, switching from a patient build-up in the first half to a more direct approach after falling behind. Their resilience in midfield was key, winning second balls and turning defense into attack quickly. Al-Arabi Doha U23, meanwhile, were effective in the first half with their high pressing and quick transitions, but faded as the game wore on, unable to maintain their intensity against a deeper and more experienced opponent.

Standout Players

• Al-Arabi Doha U23 goalkeeper: Made several crucial saves in the second half to keep his side in the game, though he was ultimately powerless to prevent the winner.
• Al Rayyan Reserves' defensive midfielder: Provided the steel in midfield, breaking up play and distributing the ball effectively to launch attacks.
