Sportowa Czworka Radom Women claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Resovia Rzeszow Women in the Poland Women League, edging a tight contest that was decided by small margins and a strong second-half response. The home side's ability to convert pressure into goals proved the difference in a match that remained competitive until the final whistle.

Match Overview

The Poland Women League has grown steadily more competitive in recent seasons, and this fixture reflected that trend: two well-organised sides, a compact midfield battle, and a game that turned on individual moments rather than sustained dominance. Radom's home advantage gave them the early initiative, but Resovia Rzeszow's disciplined shape kept the match balanced for long periods.

Key Moments

• Radom take the lead: Sustained possession around the Resovia box ended with a composed finish from close range.
• Resovia respond: The visitors equalised with a well-taken effort after winning the ball high up the pitch.
• The winner: Radom restored their advantage in the second half, finishing off a move that stretched the Resovia defence from side to side.
• Late pressure: Resovia pushed numbers forward in the closing stages, but Radom's back line held firm under a series of crosses and set pieces.

Tactical Story

Radom built their game around controlling central areas and getting their full-backs high to create width. That approach produced plenty of possession, though it also left them exposed on the counter — and Resovia's equaliser came precisely from that vulnerability.

After the break, Radom adjusted, dropping one midfielder deeper to screen the space in front of the defence. The change reduced Resovia's transition threat and allowed the hosts to sustain attacks for longer, which ultimately produced the winning goal.

Standout Performers

Radom's midfield trio set the tone, winning duels and recycling possession quickly. The forward line, meanwhile, showed good patience — both goals came from moves built through multiple passes rather than hopeful balls into the box.

For Resovia Rzeszow, the goalkeeper kept her side in the contest with a number of important stops, while the wide players were the team's most dangerous attacking outlet throughout. Their pressing in the first half caused genuine problems and underlined why they remain a difficult opponent on the road.

Table Impact and Outlook

The three points strengthen Sportowa Czworka Radom Women's position in the Poland Women League standings and add another home win to a record that is becoming a foundation for their season. Scoring twice against a defensively organised opponent is a positive sign for a side that has sometimes struggled to break down compact blocks.

Resovia Rzeszow leave with a narrow defeat but a performance that offered encouragement. Their equaliser demonstrated the effectiveness of their high press, and if they can turn that intensity into more consistent end product, results will follow. With the league's margins so tight, both sides know that single moments like the ones in this match will shape where they finish.
