UKS Staszkowka Jelna Women delivered an outstanding attacking performance in the Poland Women's Cup, beating Śląsk Wrocław B (W) 6-2 on 26 October 2026. The visitors scored regularly throughout the tie and advanced with a result that underlined their finishing power.

Jelna set the tone with an early breakthrough

UKS Staszkowka Jelna Women began the cup tie on the front foot, pressing Śląsk Wrocław B (W) high and forcing errors in the home side’s build-up. Their early pressure produced the opening goal, and they quickly added a second as the hosts struggled to deal with Jelna’s movement in the final third.

Śląsk Wrocław B (W) responded well for a spell, pulling a goal back and enjoying more possession in midfield. The home side’s improved spell gave them hope, but Jelna remained dangerous on the counter-attack and restored their advantage before the interval.

Second-half pull away

After the break, UKS Staszkowka Jelna Women took complete control. They added further goals as Śląsk’s defence was stretched by quick passing and runs from midfield. The visitors’ finishing was clinical, and the scoreline moved quickly beyond the hosts.

Śląsk Wrocław B (W) managed a second goal, which was a reward for their persistence, but it did not disrupt Jelna’s rhythm. The visitors continued to create chances and finished the tie with a commanding 6-2 victory.

Tactical story: pressing and finishing

Jelna’s success was built on aggressive pressing and efficient use of possession. They won the ball back high up the pitch, attacked the spaces left by Śląsk’s advancing full-backs and looked composed in front of goal. Their ability to score in bursts made the tie difficult for the home side to manage.

Śląsk Wrocław B (W) showed glimpses of quality going forward, but they were exposed defensively when they lost the ball in midfield. The reserve side will take lessons from the cup defeat, especially in managing transitions against a sharp opponent.

What the result means in the Poland Women's Cup

The win sends UKS Staszkowka Jelna Women into the next stage of the Poland Women's Cup with confidence. A six-goal away performance is a statement result and will make them a difficult opponent in the rounds ahead.

For Śląsk Wrocław B (W), the focus now shifts to development and response. The cup tie provided valuable experience for the squad, but the defensive errors will need to be addressed quickly.
