Wigry Suwalki produced a commanding 4-1 win over KTS Weszlo in Poland Liga 3 on 24 October 2026, with a ruthless first-half display and a clinical second-half finish at the Stadion Miejski.

The home side were sharper in every department, pressing aggressively, moving the ball quickly and turning sustained pressure into goals. KTS Weszlo’s consolation came late, but by then the result was long settled.

Match overview

Wigry Suwalki started on the front foot and took the lead in the 12th minute when Kamil Zalewski finished calmly after a turnover in midfield. The hosts doubled their advantage in the 38th minute through Bartosz Borkowski, who arrived at the back post to convert a low cross.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Wigry added a third in the 61st minute when Damian Wysocki curled a shot into the far corner, and Zalewski grabbed his second of the night in the 74th minute after another quick attacking move.

KTS Weszlo scored a consolation goal in the 82nd minute through Przemysław Róg, but Wigry managed the closing stages comfortably and could have added a fifth on the counter.

Tactical story

Wigry Suwalki’s high press disrupted KTS Weszlo’s attempts to play out from the back. The hosts won possession in dangerous areas and attacked with width, stretching the defence before delivering crosses into the box.

KTS Weszlo struggled to cope with Wigry’s intensity in the first hour and were often forced into long clearances. Their late goal was a reward for a brief spell of pressure, but it did little to change the overall picture.

Standout performers

Zalewski was the standout with two goals and constant movement in the final third. Borkowski’s energy and link-up play were also important, while Wysocki’s goal capped a strong all-round midfield performance.

What the result means

The three points strengthen Wigry Suwalki’s position in the Poland Liga 3 table and serve notice of their attacking potential. For KTS Weszlo, the defeat is a reminder of the demands of the division: lapses in possession are punished quickly, especially away from home.

Wigry will look to carry the momentum into their next fixture, while KTS Weszlo must regroup defensively and find a way to compete for longer spells in midfield.
