Match Overview

The opening exchanges were tight, with both sides eager to establish rhythm in midfield. Kansai University, playing on home turf, settled quicker and took the lead midway through the first half. A well-timed run into the box was met with a precise through-ball, and the Kansai forward kept his composure to slot the ball past the Hannan goalkeeper. The goal gave Hannan confidence and set the stage for a more assertive second-half display.

Hannan's Second-Half Resolve

After the interval, Hannan University dictated the tempo more effectively. Their midfield pressed aggressively and fed the wide players, who repeatedly tested the Kansai full-backs. The winning goal came in the hour mark when a swift counter-attack caught the home defence out of position, and a composed finish sealed the comeback. Kansai pushed forward in the closing stages but struggled to create clear openings against a well-organized Hannan back line.
