Stal Lancut and KS Wiazownica shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw on 17 October 2026, delivering a four-goal thriller in Poland's Liga 3 that kept both sets of supporters entertained until the final whistle.

Match Overview

This was a game that swung back and forth, with both teams showing attacking intent and defensive vulnerability in equal measure. Stal Lancut enjoyed the benefit of home advantage, but KS Wiazownica produced a resilient away performance to take a point from a ground where visitors rarely find life comfortable.

Poland's Liga 3 is a division known for its intensity and its unpredictability, and this fixture embodied both qualities. The tempo was high from the opening exchanges, and neither side seemed willing to settle for a cautious, controlled approach.

Key Moments

• Two goals apiece: Both teams found the net twice, underlining how evenly matched they were on the day.
• Momentum swings: The lead changed hands across the match, with each side enjoying spells of control.
• Late drama: The closing minutes brought chances at both ends, with the final whistle arriving before either team could find a winner.

Tactical Story

Stal Lancut looked to use their home crowd as fuel, pushing bodies forward and attacking the flanks in search of crossing opportunities. KS Wiazownica responded with quick transitions, exploiting the spaces that opened up when the hosts committed numbers upfield. It was a contest decided largely by which defensive unit could hold its nerve, and ultimately neither could fully contain the other.

What It Means for the Table

A 2-2 draw gives both clubs a point, but it also highlights areas for improvement. Stal Lancut will be frustrated at conceding twice at home, while KS Wiazownica will be encouraged by their attacking output on the road but will want to tighten up defensively in future fixtures.

Looking Ahead

With the Liga 3 season moving quickly, both sides will look to build on this performance. Stal Lancut need to convert home games into victories if they are to climb the standings, while KS Wiazownica will be hoping that their away form continues to yield points in what is shaping up to be a competitive campaign.
