Full-time score: Siarka Tarnobrzeg 4-0 Pogon Sokol Lubaczow.

Match overview

Siarka set the tone from the opening whistle, pressing high and forcing Pogon into mistakes at the back. The home side’s movement in wide areas created space in the penalty area, and their early dominance was rewarded with the opening goal inside the first ten minutes. Pogon tried to slow the game down and defend in a deep block, but Siarka’s patience and set-piece threat allowed them to build a comfortable lead.

Key moments

• 9th minute: Siarka opened the scoring after a high press forced a turnover and the ball was finished from close range.
• 27th minute: A header from a corner doubled the lead and underlined Siarka’s aerial threat.
• 61st minute: A sweeping team move ended with a third goal, effectively putting the result beyond doubt.
• 88th minute: Siarka added a fourth from the penalty spot to complete a dominant victory.

Tactical story

Siarka’s 4-3-3 caused problems throughout, with the wide forwards staying high and the midfield winning most second balls. Pogon Sokol Lubaczow defended with a deep 5-4-1 at times, but they struggled to close the gaps between the wing-backs and centre-backs. Siarka consistently switched play and attacked the far post, and their pressing prevented Pogon from keeping possession long enough to relieve pressure. The clean sheet was built on strong concentration after the third goal.

Standout performers

The Siarka centre-forward led the line well and scored twice, while the left winger was a constant outlet with his direct running. The captain controlled the midfield and set the tempo, and the goalkeeper dealt comfortably with Pogon’s rare attempts on goal. For Pogon, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score respectable, but the visitors could not find a foothold in the match.

Season impact

The four-goal win gives Siarka Tarnobrzeg a significant boost to their goal difference and reinforces their attacking credentials in Poland Liga 3. Pogon Sokol Lubaczow will need to regroup quickly after a difficult away day. For Siarka, the challenge now is to carry the same intensity into their next fixture and turn this level of performance into a consistent run.
