Match Summary

Rekord Bielsko-Biala produced a dominant display to beat Swit Szczecin 3-0 in Poland’s Liga 2 on Friday evening. A clinical first-half performance set the tone, and the hosts never looked back as they claimed all three points in convincing fashion at the Stadion Miejski.

First Half

The home side started on the front foot, pressing high and forcing Swit Szczecin into early mistakes. The breakthrough came after just twelve minutes when a quick passing move ended with a precise finish from inside the box. Rekord doubled their lead midway through the half, capitalising on a defensive error and finishing emphatically. Swit struggled to keep possession and rarely threatened the opposition goal, with their best effort a long-range strike that sailed wide.

Second Half and Key Moments

After the interval, Rekord Bielsko-Biala continued to dictate play. They added a third goal just before the hour mark, a well-timed run and a composed finish sealing the result. Swit Szczecin tried to respond with substitutions, but the home defence remained organised and disciplined. The visitors did force a couple of corners and a free-kick in a dangerous area, but they could not find a consolation goal. Rekord comfortably saw out the remainder of the game, even creating a few more chances on the break.

Tactical Analysis

Rekord Bielsko-Biala lined up in a 4-3-3 and used their wide forwards to great effect, stretching the Swit backline and creating overloads in the final third. Their midfield trio won the battle in the centre of the park, repeatedly turning defence into attack. Swit Szczecin, meanwhile, looked disjointed and struggled to string passes together. Their 4-2-3-1 formation left gaps between the lines, and Rekord exploited those spaces ruthlessly. It was a tactical masterclass from the home coach.

Standout Players

• Rekord’s centre-forward: Scored twice and led the line with intelligence, holding up the ball and bringing others into play.
• Rekord’s right winger: Provided two assists and was a constant menace with his pace and direct running.
• Rekord’s defensive midfielder: Broke up play repeatedly and kept the tempo high with simple, effective passing.
• Swit’s goalkeeper: Made several saves to keep the score respectable, but was left exposed by his defence.

Season Impact and Table

This 3-0 win strengthens Rekord Bielsko-Biala’s position in the upper reaches of Liga 2, boosting their goal difference and confidence. Swit Szczecin remain in the lower half and will need to address their defensive frailties quickly if they are to climb the table. For Rekord, it was a statement performance that shows they are serious contenders for promotion. The three points move them closer to the leading pack, while Swit face a tough run of fixtures ahead.
