Obra Koscian edged Polonia Chodziez 3-2 in a pulsating Liga 3 encounter on Saturday evening, turning a tense home fixture into one of the more entertaining scorelines of the round. A brace from Mateusz Kaczmarek, including a late winner, proved decisive as Obra survived a spirited second-half comeback from Polonia Chodziez to claim all three points.

The match had the feel of a classic lower-league contest: fast transitions, committed defending, and a swing of momentum after the break. Obra Koscian looked in control for long spells of the first half, but Polonia Chodziez refused to fade and dragged themselves level before the hosts found one final response in the closing stages.

Obra Koscian, however, showed the kind of resilience that matters in a tight Liga 3 campaign. Rather than retreating deep, they steadied themselves through midfield and continued to look for the decisive third goal. The winner arrived in the 84th minute when a scramble inside the box fell kindly for Kaczmarek, who kept his composure to lift the ball home and send the home support into celebration.

Tactical Story

Obra Koscian’s approach was built on intensity. Their midfield pressed aggressively in the opening half hour, cutting off Polonia Chodziez’s attempts to play through the middle and forcing the visitors into rushed clearances. That pressure produced the first goal and laid the platform for the second.

Polonia Chodziez adjusted after the break, stretching the pitch with wider attacking positions and getting more bodies into the penalty area. The change worked for long spells, and their two-goal response came from exactly those areas: a cross for the first and a quick transition for the second. In the end, though, Obra’s ability to create one more clear moment in the final third made the difference.

In defence, Obra’s goalkeeper produced a handful of important stops, particularly during Polonia’s strongest spell early in the second half.

For Polonia Chodziez, Kamil Wojciechowski and Dawid Zielinski were the key figures in the comeback. Wojciechowski’s header gave the visitors
