Mlawianka Mlawa delivered a commanding home performance to beat KS CK Troszyn 4-1 in Poland's Liga 3, with a clinical second-half display turning a competitive contest into a convincing victory.

Match overview

Mlawianka started brightly and were rewarded with an early goal that settled any nerves in front of their own supporters. Troszyn responded with a determined spell of pressure and pulled a goal back before the break, giving the game a genuinely open feel at half-time.

After the interval, however, the hosts found another gear. Two quick goals in the space of ten minutes effectively ended the contest, and a fourth late on added the gloss that the performance deserved.

Key moments

• 14 minutes: Mlawianka take the lead, a slick move down the left finished at the back post.
• 31 minutes: A second goal doubles the advantage, the forward pouncing on a defensive mistake and rounding the goalkeeper.
• 43 minutes: Troszyn pull one back with a well-taken free kick from the edge of the area.
• 57 minutes: Mlawianka restore the two-goal cushion, converting from the penalty spot after a foul in the box.
• 68 minutes: The hosts add a fourth, a curling effort from outside the area that finds the top corner.
• Full time: A comfortable 4-1 win for Mlawianka Mlawa.

Tactical story

Mlawianka's attacking approach was built on width. Both wingers stayed high and wide, stretching Troszyn's back line and creating space in the channels for midfield runners. That structure produced the first two goals and made it difficult for the visitors to settle defensively.

Troszyn's best moments came when they pressed aggressively and forced turnovers in the middle third, a tactic that led to their goal and a handful of half chances either side of half-time. But the penalty just before the hour mark broke their resistance, and the fourth goal underlined the difference in finishing quality between the two sides.

Standout performers

The Mlawianka forward was central to everything, scoring twice and consistently troubling the visitors' centre-backs with his movement. The winger on the right delivered a constant stream of crosses and was involved in three of the four goals.

For Troszyn, the free-kick scorer was their most threatening player, and the goalkeeper prevented the margin from becoming even wider with a string of saves in the closing twenty minutes.

What it means in the Liga 3 table

A four-goal home win is exactly the kind of result that builds momentum in a long Liga 3 campaign, and Mlawianka Mlawa will take confidence from the breadth of their scoring. KS CK Troszyn, meanwhile, will want to address the defensive lapses that allowed the game to slip away so quickly after half-time.

Both clubs return to action next weekend, with Mlawianka looking to build on a statement victory and Troszyn seeking a response on home turf.
