KS Lomianki 1-4 KS Mszczonowianka — KS Mszczonowianka produced one of the standout away performances of the Poland Liga 3 round on 17 October 2026, dismantling KS Lomianki 4-1 with a clinical attacking display. The visitors combined sharp pressing with ruthless finishing, turning a competitive first half into a one-sided scoreline by the final whistle.

Lomianki had hoped home advantage would provide a platform for a positive result, but Mszczonowianka’s intensity set the tone early. The away side moved the ball quickly, attacked the spaces behind Lomianki’s defence and punished mistakes with remarkable efficiency. By the time the home side found a response, the game had already slipped away.

Match overview

Mszczonowianka started brightly and forced Lomianki into a series of defensive errors. Their midfield pressed high, denying the home side time on the ball, and their forwards made intelligent runs into the channels. The first goal arrived after sustained pressure, and the visitors doubled their lead before half-time with a move that cut through the centre of Lomianki’s defence.

Lomianki improved briefly after the restart and pulled a goal back, giving the home crowd hope of a comeback. But Mszczonowianka responded immediately, restoring their two-goal cushion and then adding a fourth late on to complete a convincing victory. The scoreline was a fair reflection of the visitors’ superiority in the final third.

• 14th minute: Mszczonowianka took the lead after a high press forced a loose pass, with the forward finishing low into the corner.
• 37th minute: A quick passing move through midfield ended with a calm finish from inside the penalty area, making it 2-0.
• 54th minute: KS Lomianki halved the deficit with a header from a corner, briefly raising hopes of a fightback.
• 61st minute: Mszczonowianka restored their two-goal advantage after a counter-attack down the left and a first-time finish at the near post.

Tactical story

Mszczonowianka’s success was built on aggressive pressing and quick transitions. They allowed Lomianki possession in harmless areas but closed down aggressively in midfield, forcing turnovers that immediately became attacking opportunities. Their front line stretched the home defence, creating gaps for midfield runners and making it difficult for Lomianki to maintain a compact shape.

Lomianki’s goal from a set-piece showed their aerial threat, but the home side struggled to sustain pressure. When they pushed numbers forward in search of an equaliser, Mszczonowianka exploited the space with devastating effect. The third goal was especially damaging, arriving just minutes after Lomianki had scored, and it took the momentum out of the home team’s attempted comeback.

Standout performers

Mszczonowianka’s centre-forward was a constant menace, leading the line with intelligent movement and bringing teammates into play. The midfield engine room also deserved praise for winning second balls and setting the tempo. At the back, the visiting defence recovered well after conceding, limiting Lomianki to few clear chances in the final half-hour.

For Lomianki, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score respectable, while the set-piece scorer was the home side’s most dangerous threat. However, too many individual errors in possession allowed Mszczonowianka to control the key moments.

What the result means

The three points strengthen Mszczonowianka’s position in the Poland Liga 3 table and underline their potential to be a dangerous side on the road. For KS Lomianki, the defeat highlights the need for greater composure in possession and better protection when pushing forward. The result will give Mszczonowianka confidence for the fixtures ahead, while Lomianki must regroup quickly before the next round.
