Pogoń Szczecin II delivered a ruthless away performance, thrashing Kotwica Kołobrzeg 6-0 in Poland Liga 3 on 11 October 2026. It was a one-sided contest in every sense, with the visitors combining clinical finishing and relentless pressing to overwhelm the hosts.

Match Overview

The game was effectively decided before half-time. Pogoń's second team played with the tempo and technical assurance you would expect from a well-drilled reserve side, moving the ball quickly and attacking in numbers whenever possession changed hands. Kotwica, by contrast, could not get a foothold in midfield and were punished repeatedly for loose passes in their own half.

Six goals without reply is a statement scoreline in any division, and it will be remembered as one of the standout results of the Liga 3 round. Kotwica's afternoon deteriorated steadily, and by the closing stages the match had long since stopped being a contest.

Key Moments

• Early breakthrough: Pogoń struck first after sustained pressure, forcing Kotwica onto the back foot immediately.
• Rapid double: Two quick goals before the break took the game away from the hosts entirely.
• Half-time damage: The visitors went in with a commanding lead that reflected their control of the match.
• Second-half ruthlessness: Pogoń added three more, refusing to ease off despite the scoreline.
• Clean sheet: Kotwica were limited to scraps, and the visitors' defence never looked seriously troubled.

Tactical Story

Pogoń's plan was aggressive and simple: win the ball high, attack immediately, and overwhelm the opposition with numbers in the final third. Their pressing forced hurried clearances and turnovers in dangerous areas, and their movement off the ball made them almost impossible to mark.

Kotwica's difficulties compounded as the scoreline grew. Chasing the game left them exposed in midfield, and the spaces between defence and goalkeeper became a highway for Pogoń's runners. It is the hardest situation in football to manage, and on this evidence there was no route back for the home side.

Standout Performers

The goals were spread across the Pogoń attack, which is a sign of a side functioning as a unit rather than relying on one individual. Their midfielders dictated the tempo, the wide players consistently beat their markers, and the second-half substitutes maintained the same intensity after the game was won.

For Kotwica Kołobrzeg, it was a night to forget. A heavy home defeat demands an honest review of defensive shape, communication and the team's ability to stop the flow of a match when things begin to unravel.

Season Impact

For Pogoń Szczecin II, a six-goal away win does wonders. Reserve sides are judged partly on how convincingly their young players compete at senior level, and this performance demonstrated real quality, fitness and game intelligence from the visitors.

For Kotwica, the priority is damage control. Goal difference is a currency that matters in Liga 3, and a defeat of this size can be costly when the table is tight in the spring. More importantly, the squad must find a way to reset quickly before the next fixture, because confidence is the first casualty of a rout like this.
