Tactical Analysis

Korona Kielce II set up in a compact 4-4-2, looking to stay organised and hit on the counter-attack. Their midfield worked tirelessly to close down spaces, making it difficult for Wieczysta Krakow B to play through them. Wieczysta, playing a 4-3-3, tried to use width to stretch the home defence, but their crossing was often dealt with comfortably. The game was decided by set-pieces, and Korona's ability to defend their lead in the final stages showed maturity beyond their years. Wieczysta will feel they deserved a point, but they lacked a cutting edge in the final third.
