Key moments

Kotwica equalised four minutes before half-time when Bartosz Lewandowski arrived late in the penalty area to convert a cross from the right. The goal changed the momentum of the contest, and Kotwica started the second half with renewed purpose. They pressed higher, won more duels in midfield and forced Iskierka deeper into their own half.

The winner arrived in the 67th minute. A quick passing move opened up space on the left, and the ball was pulled back for Mateusz Zielinski, who took a touch before firing into the roof of the net. Iskierka pushed for an equaliser in the final 20 minutes and created a couple of half-chances, but Kotwica's defence held firm to secure an important away victory.

Tactical story

Iskierka Szczecin began with an aggressive pressing approach and were rewarded with an early goal. However, their intensity dropped after the opening 30 minutes, allowing Kotwica to gain a foothold. The visitors adjusted their midfield shape, closing the central spaces and forcing Iskierka to play wider, where their crosses were easier to defend.

Kotwica's second-half performance was built on control and composure. They circulated the ball patiently, waited for openings and took advantage of Iskierka's increasing desperation. The winning goal was a fine team move, but it also highlighted Kotwica's ability to capitalise on transitional moments. Their game management in the closing stages was excellent, as they slowed the tempo and protected their lead.

Standout performers

Mateusz Zielinski was the match-winner for Kotwica Kolobrzeg, showing excellent technique and composure for his decisive strike. His movement between the lines caused problems for the Iskierka defence throughout the second half, and he linked play intelligently with the forwards. Bartosz Lewandowski also deserves credit for his equalising goal and all-round contribution in midfield.

For Iskierka Szczecin, Kamil Nowak was the standout performer. His early goal was taken with confidence, and he remained a threat with his direct running and willingness to shoot. The home side's goalkeeper also made a fine save in the second half to keep the deficit at one, but it was not enough to prevent Kotwica from taking all three points.

Liga 3 impact

The win strengthens Kotwica Kolobrzeg's position in the Poland Liga 3 table and provides a timely confidence boost. Coming from behind away from home is a sign of character, and the result will be viewed as a statement of intent. For Iskierka Szczecin, the defeat is a frustrating one after a promising start, but the performance showed enough to suggest they can bounce back in their next fixture.
