Hetman Zamosc and Chelmianka Chelm Play Out Thrilling 2-2 Draw

Hetman Zamosc and Chelmianka Chelm shared the points in a pulsating 2-2 draw in Poland's Liga 3 on Sunday. The four-goal encounter entertained a raucous crowd at Stadion Miejski, with both sides showing attacking intent from the first whistle.

Hetman took an early lead through Kamil Nowak, who finished neatly after a mazy run in the 12th minute. Chelmianka responded just before the half-hour mark, Piotr Wiśniewski converting a penalty after a handball in the box.

Key Moments

The second half exploded into life when Hetman regained the lead in the 58th minute, Marek Kowalski scoring with a powerful header. But Chelmianka refused to lie down, and Adam Lewandowski equalised in the 77th minute with a low drive from the edge of the area. Both teams pushed for a winner, but the defences held firm in the closing stages.

Tactical Story

Hetman's 4-3-3 formation caused problems down the flanks, while Chelmianka's 4-4-2 looked to hit on the break. The game was played at a frantic pace, with midfield spaces opening up regularly. Both managers will be pleased with the attacking output but concerned about the defensive lapses.

Standout Players

• Kamil Nowak (Hetman) – opened the scoring and was a constant menace.
• Piotr Wiśniewski (Chelmianka) – composed penalty and creative spark.
• Marek Kowalski (Hetman) – dominated aerial duels and scored a bullet header.

Season Impact

Hetman Zamosc remain in sixth place, while Chelmianka Chelm sit eighth. The draw does little to change their league positions, but the spirited performance will give both squads confidence. They will meet again in the reverse fixture, where a similar goal-fest could be on the cards.
