Chrobry Glogow II 4-2 WKS Wierzbice — Chrobry Glogow II won a six-goal thriller in Poland Liga 3 on September 20, 2026, beating WKS Wierzbice 4-2 after a back-and-forth contest that was decided by superior finishing in the final third.

Chrobry Glogow II started brightly and took the lead inside the opening quarter of an hour. The home side moved the ball quickly through midfield and created overloads on the flanks, forcing WKS Wierzbice into a series of early defensive interventions. WKS responded well, though, and equalised midway through the first half with a well-worked move of their own.

Match overview

Chrobry regained control before half-time. Damian Kaczmarek, their most dangerous attacker, restored the lead in the 39th minute with a low finish after a clever exchange on the edge of the box. That goal gave the hosts a narrow advantage at the break, but the game remained open because WKS Wierzbice carried a real threat on the counter.

Early in the second half, Chrobry extended their lead to 3-1 when Kaczmarek turned provider, sliding a pass through for Szymon Lis to score. WKS refused to fold and pulled one back in the 72nd minute through Tomasz Mazur, setting up a tense final period. Chrobry sealed the win in the 84th minute when Kaczmarek scored his second of the match.

Tactical story

Chrobry Glogow II were the more proactive side, pressing WKS Wierzbice high and forcing turnovers in dangerous areas. Their midfield triangle consistently found space between the lines, and Kaczmarek’s movement caused problems all afternoon. WKS defended in a compact block for long spells, but they struggled to contain Chrobry when the game became stretched.

WKS Wierzbice deserve credit for staying in the contest and scoring twice away from home. Their counter-attacking was direct and effective, especially in the second half. However, Chrobry’s superior quality in the final third proved decisive, and the home side managed the final minutes calmly after restoring their two-goal cushion.

Standout players

Damian Kaczmarek was the hero for Chrobry Glogow II with two goals and an assist. Szymon Lis also impressed with his energy and link-up play, while the Chrobry defence recovered well after a shaky spell in the first half. For WKS Wierzbice, Mazur and Duda were the main attacking threats and their goals kept the match alive until late.

Poland Liga 3 impact

The victory gives Chrobry Glogow II another important three points in Poland Liga 3 and maintains their strong home record. WKS Wierzbice will take encouragement from their two goals but will be disappointed to concede four, especially after fighting their way back into the match.
