Gawin Sleza Wroclaw secured a 2-1 away victory over Barycz Sulow in Poland Liga 3 on 25 October 2026, using a patient second-half performance to turn a tight contest in their favour and claim three valuable points on the road.

The match began with Barycz Sulow looking to use home advantage and impose a direct, physical approach. Gawin Sleza Wroclaw, however, were composed in possession and gradually found space between the lines. The visitors took the lead after a well-worked move, but Barycz responded with a determined spell of pressure and equalised before the break. The deciding goal arrived in the second half, when Gawin Sleza Wroclaw capitalised on a defensive lapse and held on through a tense closing period.

Match overview

Barycz Sulow started with energy, pressing high and looking to force mistakes in the visitors’ build-up. Their best moments came from wide deliveries and second balls around the penalty area. Gawin Sleza Wroclaw absorbed that early pressure and began to control the rhythm through their midfield, switching play and waiting for openings rather than rushing forward.

The opening goal reflected that patience. Gawin Sleza Wroclaw worked the ball into a dangerous area and finished calmly, silencing the home crowd. Barycz Sulow responded well, raising their intensity and finding an equaliser before half-time to set up an intriguing second half.

Key moments

• Gawin Sleza Wroclaw opened the scoring after a composed passing sequence found space in the Barycz penalty area.
• Barycz Sulow levelled before the interval, capitalising on a spell of sustained pressure and a scramble inside the box.
• The visitors regained the lead in the second half after a quick transition caught Barycz stretched at the back.
• Barycz pushed numbers forward late on, but Gawin Sleza Wroclaw defended their box well and managed the closing minutes professionally.

Tactical story

Gawin Sleza Wroclaw’s victory was built on better control in midfield and smarter decision-making in the final third. They were willing to let Barycz have the ball in less dangerous areas and then strike through quick vertical passes. Their wingers stretched the home defence, creating room for central runners and making it difficult for Barycz to maintain a compact block.

Barycz Sulow had spells of authority, particularly before their equaliser, but their final ball lacked consistency. The home side committed bodies forward in search of a second equaliser, and that openness allowed Gawin Sleza Wroclaw to see out the game with a cautious but effective approach.

Standout performers

Gawin Sleza Wroclaw’s midfield was the engine room of the win, winning loose balls and linking defence with attack. Their defensive line also deserves credit for surviving late pressure, with clearances and blocks coming at crucial moments. For Barycz Sulow, the attacking effort was strong, but the team will rue missed opportunities and a few costly gaps at the back.

Season impact

The 2-1 result gives Gawin Sleza Wroclaw an important away win in Poland Liga 3 and strengthens their position in a competitive promotion picture. Barycz Sulow remain with work to do, especially at home, where turning encouraging spells into points will be essential. The three points may prove significant as the season moves deeper into its decisive phase.
