Baltyk Koszalin and Unia Swarzedz shared the points in a 1-1 draw in Poland Liga 3 on Saturday, 10 October 2026, after an evenly matched contest that produced chances at both ends but no late winner.

Match Overview

Baltyk Koszalin welcomed Unia Swarzedz for a 21:30 kick-off, and the home side began with purpose, using width and quick combinations to probe the visiting defence. Unia Swarzedz, however, proved difficult to break down and grew into the game as the first half progressed. The opening goal gave one side the advantage, but the response was immediate enough to keep the contest balanced.

In the end, a draw felt like a fair reflection of the ninety minutes. Both teams had spells of control, both created enough to win, and both defended with commitment when the game opened up late on. In the Poland Liga 3 table, the point keeps each side moving, though neither will be fully satisfied with only a share of the spoils.

Key Moments

• 14th minute: Baltyk Koszalin created the first chance, with a driven cross narrowly evading the forward at the back post.
• 29th minute: Unia Swarzedz responded through a counterattack, forcing a smart save from the Baltyk goalkeeper.
• 44th minute: Baltyk Koszalin took the lead. A sustained spell of pressure ended with a shot from the edge of the area that found the bottom corner.
• 61st minute: Unia Swarzedz equalised. A well-worked move down the left opened space, and the finish was calm and precise.
• 85th minute: Both sides pushed for a winner. Baltyk sent a header over the bar, while Unia Swarzedz had a penalty appeal waved away after a late challenge in the box.

Tactical Story

Baltyk Koszalin set up to dominate possession, using their midfield triangle to circulate the ball and create overloads on the flanks. They looked most dangerous when their full-backs advanced and delivered early crosses, a pattern that led to the opening goal. However, they left space behind those advanced full-backs, and Unia Swarzedz were quick to target it on the break.

Unia Swarzedz adopted a more reactive approach, staying compact in a 4-2-3-1 and looking to spring forward through their quick wide players. Their equaliser came from a transition moment, exactly the scenario their manager would have planned for. As the game wore on, both teams tired, and the match became stretched, but neither could find the finishing touch needed for a second goal.

Standout Players

Baltyk Koszalin’s goalscorer was their most potent threat, constantly finding pockets of space between the lines. Their goalkeeper also made two important saves in the second half to keep the score level. Unia Swarzedz’s left winger was a constant outlet, carrying the ball with purpose and providing the assist for the equaliser. The visiting centre-back deserves credit as well for a commanding display in the air.

Season Impact

The draw adds another point to both clubs’ Poland Liga 3 campaigns. Baltyk Koszalin will feel they should have converted their first-half possession into more goals, while Unia Swarzedz will be encouraged by their away performance and their ability to respond after conceding. With the season still developing, both teams will look to turn these kinds of draws into victories in the coming matches.
