Avia Swidnik saw plenty of the ball, especially after the break, but struggled to turn possession into clear chances. Znicz Pruszkow sat in a well-organised mid-block, defended the central areas and broke with purpose. The visitors took the lead in the first half and sealed the win with a clinical second goal late on.

Tactical story

Avia Swidnik tried to build patiently from the back and use width to stretch the Znicz defence. However, their final pass was often delayed, allowing Znicz to recover shape. Znicz were happy to concede territory, close the central lane and attack the space behind Avia’s advanced full-backs. That game plan worked perfectly, with both goals coming from quick, direct moves.

Standout players

Mateusz Kucharzyk was a constant threat with his movement and set the tone with the opening goal. Damian Szymański’s late finish showed the visitors’ ruthlessness, while Jakub Osiński’s handling under pressure helped Znicz keep a clean sheet.

Season impact

The away win gives Znicz Pruszkow a valuable boost in the Liga 2 table and underlines their ability to grind out results on the road. For Avia Swidnik, the defeat is a reminder that possession without penetration is not enough in a competitive league.
