AKS Busko-Zdrój 3-0 Wisła Kraków II — AKS Busko-Zdrój produced a commanding home performance to beat Wisła Kraków II 3-0 in Poland Liga 3 on Sunday, October 4, 2026. A first-half opener set the tone, and two further goals after the break sealed a convincing victory that underlined AKS’s strength on their own patch.

AKS Busko-Zdrój dominate from start to finish

From the opening whistle, AKS Busko-Zdrój looked the sharper and more assertive side. The hosts pressed high, won the majority of second balls in midfield, and repeatedly turned possession into dangerous attacks. Wisła Kraków II, fielding a young and energetic lineup, tried to play out from the back, but they struggled to cope with AKS’s intensity in the final third.

The breakthrough arrived early, and it came from a familiar source: pressure. AKS forced a turnover near the Wisła penalty area, and the ball was worked quickly to Kamil Skiba, who finished with composure to make it 1-0. The goal settled the home side and forced Wisła Kraków II to chase the game.

Key moments

• 12' — Goal for AKS Busko-Zdrój. Kamil Skiba opens the scoring after a high turnover and a quick exchange on the edge of the box.
• 28' — Wisła Kraków II’s best chance of the first half, a shot from distance, drifts just wide of the post.
• 54' — AKS double their lead. Mateusz Wójcik rises highest from a corner and powers a header past the goalkeeper.
• 67' — Wisła Kraków II push more players forward, but AKS’s defence holds firm and continues to threaten on the counter.
• 78' — Kamil Skiba scores his second. A neat one-two releases him inside the box, and he slots the ball into the far corner to make it 3-0.
• 90' — AKS see out the closing minutes with a clean sheet and three valuable points.

Tactical story: pressing and set pieces decide it

AKS Busko-Zdrój’s game plan was clear: press Wisła Kraków II’s build-up, force mistakes, and attack quickly. That approach worked perfectly. The midfield trio worked tirelessly to close down passing lanes, and the front players were ruthless when opportunities appeared. The second goal, from a corner, highlighted another strength — AKS’s aerial threat from set pieces.

Wisła Kraków II showed flashes of technical quality, especially in midfield, but they were too often forced sideways and backwards. When they did get into advanced areas, the final pass was lacking. Defensively, they struggled with AKS’s direct running and were punished for leaving space between the full-backs and centre-backs.

Standout players

Kamil Skiba was the clear man of the match, scoring twice and leading the line with intelligence and energy. His movement created space for others, and his finishing was clinical. Mateusz Wójcik also impressed, not only with his headed goal but with his defensive work at set pieces.

For Wisła Kraków II, the goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, while their central midfielder tried to dictate play despite intense pressure. In the end, however, the visitors had no answer to AKS’s physicality and tempo.

Poland Liga 3 impact

The 3-0 win strengthens AKS Busko-Zdrój’s position in the Poland Liga 3 table and gives them momentum for the next round of fixtures. For Wisła Kraków II, it is a difficult result that highlights the gap between reserve-team football and the demands of senior Liga 3 competition. AKS will take confidence from the clean sheet and the spread of scorers, while Wisła Kraków II must regroup quickly if they are to climb away from the lower reaches of the standings.
