Club Ada Jaen and Comerciantes FC played out a 0-0 draw in Peruvian Liga 2, with the two sides cancelling each other out in a hard-fought contest. There were chances at both ends, but strong goalkeeping and resolute defending kept the scoreboard untouched.

Match overview

Club Ada Jaen enjoyed the better start and nearly took the lead in the 21st minute when a shot from the edge of the box struck the post. Tactical story

Comerciantes FC were happy to defend in a compact block and attack through quick transitions, especially in the second half.

The game became a battle of patience. Ada Jaen’s set pieces caused problems, while Comerciantes FC’s organization and communication at the back made them difficult to break down. Both coaches will take positives from the defensive display, though the lack of a cutting edge will be a concern.

Standout players

Club Ada Jaen’s goalkeeper handled crosses confidently and made one important second-half stop. The Comerciantes FC center-backs were excellent under pressure, winning several crucial headers, while their midfield worked tirelessly to close the space in front of the defense.

For Club Ada Jaen, it is a missed opportunity to turn home pressure into a victory; for Comerciantes FC, it is a solid away result built on defensive discipline. With the promotion race remaining tight, both sides will know that converting draws into wins could be decisive over the final stretch of the season.
