Match overview

Ullensaker/Kisa IL began the match with intent, moving the ball quickly and looking to stretch Kjelsas down the flanks. But the visitors were well organised, kept their shape and grew into the contest. Kjelsas took the lead with a well-worked attack, and although Ull/Kisa equalised, the away side had the final say with a late winning goal.

The result was a classic example of an away team making the most of their opportunities. Ull/Kisa will feel they deserved more from their possession, but Kjelsas showed the ruthlessness needed to take all three points.

Key moments

• Kjelsas opener: A quick break ended with a low finish beyond the goalkeeper.
• Ull/Kisa response: The hosts equalised after sustained pressure and a scramble in the penalty area.
• Decisive goal: Kjelsas scored late on, converting a set-piece opportunity to silence the home crowd.

Tactical story

Ullensaker/Kisa IL tried to dominate through central midfield, but Kjelsas compressed the space between the lines and forced them wide. The visitors were happy to concede possession in less dangerous areas and then counter with speed. Their defensive block was difficult to break down, and their goalkeeper commanded the box well.

Kjelsas also looked dangerous from set-pieces, which ultimately proved decisive. Ull/Kisa pushed bodies forward in search of a late equaliser, but Kjelsas managed the closing minutes with maturity and discipline.

Standout performers

Kjelsas's goalkeeper was one of the standout players, making several important stops before the late winner. The match-winner showed composure in a high-pressure moment, while the central defensive pairing dealt with Ull/Kisa's crosses effectively. For the hosts, the midfield creator worked tirelessly and the equalising goal was a reward for their persistence.

Season impact

The win gives Kjelsas a valuable boost in the Norwegian 2.Divisjon standings, especially coming away from home against a strong opponent. Ullensaker/Kisa IL remain a competitive side, but dropped points at home can be costly in a tight promotion race. Both teams will take important lessons from a tense and tactical encounter.
