Stabæk B and Hinna played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the Norwegian 3. Divisjon on Saturday night, with Hinna scoring a late equaliser to cancel out Stabæk B’s second-half lead. The home side’s young lineup produced some impressive attacking football, but Hinna’s resilience earned them a deserved point.

It was a game of momentum swings. Stabæk B started well, Hinna responded, and the contest remained open right until the final whistle.

Match overview

• Competition: Norwegian 3. Divisjon
• Date: Saturday, 24 October 2026
• Final score: Stabæk B 2-2 Hinna
• Half-time: 1-1

Stabæk B took the lead in the 9th minute through a well-worked move down the left. The ball was played into the feet of Mathias Berg, who turned neatly and found the far corner with a composed finish. The home side’s bright start had Hinna on the back foot.

Hinna equalised in the 34th minute after a period of sustained pressure. A set piece caused confusion in the Stabæk B penalty area, and Kristian Salvesen was on hand to poke the ball home from close range. The goal settled Hinna and ensured the teams went into the break level.

Key moments

Stabæk B regained the lead in the 58th minute with a goal that showcased their passing quality. A quick exchange in midfield released the right winger, whose low cross was converted at the back post. For a while, the home side looked likely to see the game out.

Hinna, though, kept pushing. They introduced fresh legs from the bench and began to win more second balls in midfield. The equaliser arrived in the 84th minute when Salvesen turned provider, holding the ball up before laying it off for a teammate to strike low into the net.

Stabæk B had one final chance in stoppage time, but a header from a corner drifted wide. The draw was probably a fair reflection of a game in which both teams had spells on top.

Tactical story

Stabæk B’s approach was built on quick, short passing and fluid movement between the lines. Their younger legs allowed them to press aggressively in the first half, and they created several openings by attacking the space behind Hinna’s full-backs.

Hinna were more direct and physical. They targeted set pieces, looked to win aerial duels and were happy to play longer when under pressure. That approach kept them in the game and eventually paid off with the late equaliser.

Standout performers

Berg was at the heart of Stabæk B’s best moments, linking play and scoring the opener. His ability to find pockets of space between the lines made him difficult to mark. For Hinna, Salvesen was the key figure, scoring one and assisting the other.

Stabæk B’s goalkeeper also made a couple of important saves to keep the score level before the late goal, while Hinna’s midfield grew stronger as the match wore on.

What the result means

The point keeps Hinna moving along steadily in the Norwegian 3. Divisjon and underlines their ability to fight back in difficult moments. For Stabæk B, it is a reminder of the fine margins at this level: their football was often excellent, but they could not quite close the game out.

Both sides will take encouragement from the performance. Stabæk B showed attacking promise, while Hinna proved once again that they are a side built on resilience and team spirit.
