Skeid Oslo 4-0 Ullensaker/Kisa IL — Norwegian 2. Divisjon match report

Skeid Oslo produced one of the most emphatic performances of the Norwegian 2. Divisjon round on 17 October 2026, beating Ullensaker/Kisa IL 4-0 at home. The scoreline reflected a night of complete control for Skeid, who combined early pressure with ruthless finishing and never allowed the visitors to settle into their rhythm.

Match overview

From the opening minutes, Skeid played with the urgency of a side determined to make home advantage count. They pressed high, moved the ball quickly through midfield and repeatedly attacked the space behind Ullensaker/Kisa’s defensive line. The early breakthrough gave the hosts confidence, and the second goal before half-time turned the contest firmly in their favour.

Ullensaker/Kisa IL tried to respond after the break, but the game had already slipped away from them. Skeid managed the second half intelligently, adding two more goals while keeping a clean sheet. The visitors had brief spells of possession, yet they struggled to create clear chances against a disciplined and aggressive home defence.

Key moments

• 12th minute: Skeid opened the scoring after a turnover in midfield, moving the ball wide before a low cross was converted from close range.
• 38th minute: A well-worked move through the centre doubled the lead, with Skeid’s forward finishing calmly inside the penalty area.
• 63rd minute: The third goal arrived from a set-piece situation, as Skeid’s centre-back rose highest to head home.
• 82nd minute: Skeid rounded off the scoring with a counter-attacking goal, finishing a fast break with a composed strike.

Tactical story

Skeid’s 4-3-3 shape worked perfectly. The midfield trio controlled the centre of the pitch, allowing the full-backs to push forward and create overloads in wide areas. Ullensaker/Kisa IL sat deep in an attempt to absorb pressure, but they were unable to close the gaps between their defensive and midfield lines. Every time Skeid won the ball back, they looked capable of turning defence into attack within seconds.

The visitors’ best moments came early in the second half, when they briefly increased their pressing intensity. However, Skeid’s goalkeeper and back four dealt comfortably with the danger. Once the third goal went in, the match lost its competitive edge, and Skeid were able to see out the win without serious alarm.

Standout performers

Skeid’s No. 8 was at the heart of nearly everything good, dictating tempo and breaking up Ullensaker/Kisa’s attempted counter-attacks. The centre-forward led the line superbly, holding up play and bringing others into the match. For Ullensaker/Kisa IL, the goalkeeper prevented an even heavier defeat with several sharp saves, but the outfield players struggled to match Skeid’s intensity over 90 minutes.

Season impact

The three points strengthen Skeid Oslo’s position in the Norwegian 2. Divisjon standings and underline their credentials in the promotion race. A 4-0 home win of this nature sends a clear message to the teams around them. For Ullensaker/Kisa IL, the result is a reminder of the work still needed defensively, and they will need a quick response in their next fixture to avoid a difficult run.
