Sandefjord B 0-2 Rade: Rade Secure Away Victory in Norwegian 3. Divisjon

Rade claimed a controlled 2-0 away win against Sandefjord B in the Norwegian 3. Divisjon on October 13, 2026, scoring in each half to frustrate the home side. Sandefjord B, a development-focused reserve team, showed flashes of quality but lacked the experience and cutting edge to break down a well-organised Rade defence.

Match Overview

Rade started the match with a clear plan: stay compact, press at the right moments, and attack quickly down the flanks. That approach produced the opening goal in the 31st minute when Kristian Berg received the ball on the edge of the box, created a yard of space, and fired a low shot into the corner. Sandefjord B tried to respond before half-time, and their best chance came in the 44th minute, but a rushed finish flew over the bar.

The second half saw Sandefjord B enjoy more possession, but Rade remained dangerous on the counterattack. In the 68th minute, Rade doubled their lead. Martin Larsen drove forward from midfield and played a one-two on the edge of the area before slotting the ball past the goalkeeper. Sandefjord B pushed more players forward in the final 20 minutes, but Rade’s back line held firm and their goalkeeper dealt comfortably with crosses and long shots.

The 0-2 scoreline reflects Rade’s efficiency in both boxes. They defended with discipline, took their chances, and managed the closing stages professionally to secure a valuable away victory.

Key Moments

• 31’ – Rade 1-0: Kristian Berg creates space and finishes low from the edge of the box.
• 44’ – Sandefjord B chance: A promising opening ends with a shot over the crossbar.
• 68’ – Rade 2-0: Martin Larsen combines in midfield and slots home from inside the area.
• 76’ – Rade defensive block: A last-ditch challenge denies Sandefjord B a clear sight of goal.
• 90’ – Clean sheet: Rade see out the match without conceding.

Tactical Story

Rade set up in a 4-4-2 with a narrow midfield, inviting Sandefjord B to play wide before closing down aggressively. That made it difficult for the home side to find rhythm through central areas. Sandefjord B’s 4-3-3 had plenty of energy, but their young players were often rushed in the final third. Rade’s experience showed in the way they slowed the game down after scoring, breaking up play with tactical fouls and keeping the ball in the corners when needed.

Standout Players

Kristian Berg was the standout for Rade, opening the scoring and leading the line with intelligence. Martin Larsen provided the second goal and controlled the midfield transitions. Rade’s goalkeeper and centre-backs also deserve credit for a composed clean sheet. For Sandefjord B, the goalkeeper made a handful of good saves, while their midfielders showed promising energy despite the result.

3. Divisjon Table Impact

The win lifts Rade in the Norwegian 3. Divisjon standings and gives them valuable momentum away from home. Sandefjord B remain focused on player development, but they will be disappointed not to have turned their second-half possession into chances. Rade’s clinical finishing and defensive organisation made the difference on the night, and they will look to build on this result in their next fixture.
