Key moments

• 54' — Oppsal levelled as Marius Lund headed in from a deep cross.
• 84' — Simen Dahl scored the winner from the penalty spot after a foul in the box.

Tactical story

Brumunddal's 4-4-2 shape was effective early on, with two banks of four limiting space in central areas. They looked dangerous on the break and deserved their first-half lead. Oppsal responded by pushing their full-backs higher and playing more directly through the middle. That adjustment allowed them to pin Brumunddal back in the second half, and the pressure eventually told through the equalizer and the late penalty.

Standout players

Lund was central to Oppsal's revival, scoring the equalizer and linking play intelligently. Dahl showed composure from the spot for the winner, while Brumunddal's Haugen was their best player, combining energy with a well-taken goal. Oppsal goalkeeper Andreas Vik also made a crucial save at 1-1 to keep the comeback alive.

What it means

Oppsal gain three important points and strengthen their position in the Norwegian 3. Divisjon table. The result will be particularly satisfying because it came from a losing position. Brumunddal will feel they let a lead slip, but their overall performance showed they can compete in the division. The head-to-head now swings in Oppsal's favor, and the team will look to build on this momentum in their next match.
