Konnerud and Heming Play Out Incredible 5-5 Draw

Konnerud and Heming produced a ten-goal spectacle in the Norwegian 3. Divisjon on Saturday, 3 October 2026, with the match finishing 5-5 after a frantic second half. The sides traded blows throughout the 19:00 kick-off, and a late Konnerud equaliser rescued a point in a game that neither defence will want to watch again.

It was a remarkable advertisement for lower-league Norwegian football: end-to-end, full of mistakes, but impossible to ignore. Both teams showed tremendous attacking quality and equally glaring defensive fragility.

Match Overview

• Fixture: Konnerud vs Heming
• League: Norwegian 3. Divisjon
• Date and time: 3 October 2026, 19:00
• Final score: Konnerud 5, Heming 5

How the Game Unfolded

Heming started the stronger and raced into a two-goal lead, exposing Konnerud’s high defensive line with direct balls over the top. Konnerud looked rattled but responded before half-time, pulling one back through a well-placed shot from the edge of the box. That goal gave the home side belief, and they equalised early in the second half after a scramble from a corner.

The match then became wildly open. Heming scored twice in quick succession to restore a two-goal cushion, only for Konnerud to hit back again. With the score at 5-3 in Heming’s favour, Konnerud threw caution to the wind, pushing extra players into the attack. A header made it 5-4, and deep into the closing stages, a low strike from inside the area completed the comeback and made it 5-5.

There was still time for one final chance at each end, but both goalkeepers made late saves to ensure the points were shared.

Tactical Story

Neither team managed to control the midfield for long. Heming’s direct running caused problems all evening, while Konnerud’s willingness to overload the final third created chance after chance. The defensive lines were often too high, and both sides struggled to track runners from deep.

Set-pieces were a recurring issue. Konnerud scored from a corner and a free-kick, while Heming also benefited from poor marking in the box. The match became a lesson in how quickly a game can spiral when defensive discipline disappears.

Standout Performers

Konnerud’s striker was the outstanding individual on the pitch, completing a hat-trick and leading the late charge. His movement in the box was too much for Heming’s centre-backs, and he was involved in almost every dangerous attack. The Konnerud goalkeeper also made two crucial saves late on to preserve the draw.

For Heming, the winger was a constant threat, scoring twice and setting up another. Their central midfielder controlled the tempo during the periods when Heming looked likely to run away with the match. In the end, however, both teams were left to rue the goals they conceded.

What the Result Means

A point each does little to improve either side’s defensive reputation, but in the context of the Norwegian 3. Divisjon standings, it keeps both teams moving. Konnerud will take heart from their fighting spirit, while Heming will be frustrated to have let a two-goal lead slip twice. For the supporters, it was a night of unforgettable entertainment.
