Fram Larvik survived a second-half scare to beat FF Lillehammer 3-2 in the Norwegian 3. Divisjon on Saturday night, with a late goal sealing a dramatic home victory. Fram looked comfortable after racing into a two-goal lead, but Lillehammer fought back to level before the hosts found a final response.

The match had everything: early goals, a tactical shift, a spirited comeback and a decisive moment in the closing stages.

Match overview

• Competition: Norwegian 3. Divisjon
• Date: Saturday, 24 October 2026
• Final score: Fram Larvik 3-2 FF Lillehammer
• Half-time: 2-0

Fram started strongly and took the lead in the 8th minute through Ole Kristian Dahl, who found space inside the box and finished with confidence. The home side doubled their advantage in the 36th minute when a quick passing move opened up Lillehammer’s defence and a low cross was converted at the back post.

At that stage, Fram looked in complete control. Lillehammer had struggled to cope with the pace of the home side’s attacks and went into the break with plenty to fix.

Key moments

Lillehammer’s response after half-time was impressive. They pulled one back in the 54th minute through a well-placed free kick that curled into the top corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance. The goal changed the mood and gave the visitors belief.

The equaliser arrived in the 70th minute. Lillehammer won the ball in midfield, moved it quickly to the right and delivered a cross that was met with a glancing header. Suddenly, Fram’s comfortable lead had disappeared.

Fram, though, regrouped. They slowed the game down, kept possession and began to probe again. The winner came in the 87th minute when Dahl turned provider, slipping a pass through for a teammate to finish calmly past the goalkeeper. Lillehammer pushed for a third equaliser, but Fram saw the game out.

Tactical story

Fram’s first-half performance was built on width and quick combinations. Their full-backs pushed high, stretching Lillehammer’s defence and creating space for the forward line. The early goals gave them confidence to keep attacking.

Lillehammer changed their shape after the break, pressing higher and forcing Fram into mistakes. That shift brought them back into the game. Fram’s ability to adapt again in the final 15 minutes, though, was the difference.

Standout performers

Dahl was the standout for Fram Larvik, scoring the opener and assisting the winner. His movement and composure in the final third gave the home side a constant outlet. Lillehammer’s set-piece specialist was excellent in the comeback, and their goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score within reach.

Fram’s midfield also deserved credit for regaining control late on, while Lillehammer’s fighting spirit made the contest a memorable one.

What the result means

The win keeps Fram Larvik in the hunt at the top end of the Norwegian 3. Divisjon and shows they can handle pressure when games become chaotic. It was not a perfect performance, but the three points are what matter.

FF Lillehammer leave with nothing despite a brave second-half display. They proved they can compete with strong opposition, but they will need to start games better if they are to turn performances like this into points.
