Eidsvold Turn earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Skeid Oslo in the Norwegian 2.Divisjon on Saturday, 10 October 2026. A fast start and a resilient defensive display gave the home side three valuable points against one of the division’s more established names.

Match overview

Eidsvold Turn began the match with high energy, pressing Skeid Oslo into early mistakes and scoring twice before half-time. Skeid improved after the break and pulled a goal back, but Eidsvold’s defence held firm under late pressure. The home side’s game plan was clear: win the ball quickly, attack directly, and protect the lead with disciplined organisation.

Key moments

• 9th minute – Eidsvold 1-0: Kristian Skoglund gave the hosts the lead with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.
• 41st minute – Eidsvold 2-0: Henrik Berg doubled the advantage, finishing off a fast break down the left.
• 67th minute – Skeid 2-1: Amin Nouri pulled one back for Skeid with a low shot after a period of sustained pressure.
• 85th minute – Eidsvold save: Goalkeeper Sander Lunde made a vital stop to deny Skeid an equaliser.

Tactical story

Eidsvold Turn used a direct 4-3-3 system, looking to get the ball forward quickly to their front three. Their midfield pressed aggressively, forcing Skeid into rushed passes and limiting their ability to build from the back. The early goals allowed Eidsvold to sit deeper in the second half and protect their lead.

Skeid Oslo dominated possession after the interval and created several half-chances, but they struggled to break down a compact defensive block. Eidsvold’s centre-backs dealt well with crosses, and the goalkeeper was alert when called upon. The hosts’ ability to defend set pieces was also a key factor in holding on for the win.

Standout players

Skoglund was a constant threat with his movement and finishing, while Berg’s pace on the break gave Eidsvold an outlet throughout. Lunde’s late save was as important as any goal. For Skeid, Nouri was the most creative player, and his goal briefly gave the visitors hope, but they could not find a second.

Season impact

The win gives Eidsvold Turn a valuable boost in the Norwegian 2.Divisjon and shows they can compete with the stronger teams in the division. For Skeid Oslo, it is a setback in their push for promotion or a top-half finish, and they will be frustrated by their first-half performance. The result also improves Eidsvold’s head-to-head record against a historically significant Norwegian club.
