Drobak-Frogn IL delivered a statement performance in the Norwegian 3.Divisjon on Saturday, October 3, 2026, powering past Sparta Sarpsborg B 4-1 at home. The scoreline reflected the home side’s control, sharper finishing, and ability to turn pressure into goals at key moments throughout the evening.

Match Overview

Drobak-Frogn IL started with real purpose and never really allowed Sparta Sarpsborg B to settle. The home team pressed high, moved the ball quickly through midfield, and created repeated problems down the flanks. Sparta Sarpsborg B, a development-oriented reserve side, had spells of neat possession but struggled to contain Drobak-Frogn once the game opened up.

The opening goal arrived early enough to shape the contest, and from that point the home side played with confidence. A second goal before the break gave Drobak-Frogn a cushion, and although Sparta Sarpsborg B pulled one back before half-time, the response after the interval was emphatic. Two more second-half goals sealed a convincing 4-1 win.

Key Moments

• 12th minute: Henrik Aas opened the scoring with a composed finish after a quick move down the right.
• 28th minute: Markus Lund doubled the lead, arriving late in the box to convert a low cross.
• 41st minute: Sparta Sarpsborg B gave themselves hope when a well-timed run was rewarded with a finish past the goalkeeper.
• 58th minute: Ola Berg restored the two-goal advantage with a powerful strike from the edge of the area.

Tactical Story

Drobak-Frogn IL lined up in a flexible 4-3-3 that became a 4-2-3-1 when defending. Their midfield trio pressed aggressively, forcing Sparta Sarpsborg B into hurried passes and long clearances. The full-backs pushed high, stretching the away side’s back line and creating overloads in wide areas.

Sparta Sarpsborg B tried to stay compact and counter through the channels, and their goal showed they could be dangerous when they broke quickly. However, they could not sustain enough possession to keep Drobak-Frogn from recycling the ball and attacking again. The home side’s set-piece delivery also caused problems, even when clear chances did not immediately follow.

Standout Players

Henrik Aas was central to Drobak-Frogn’s attacking play, scoring the opener and linking neatly with the midfield. Markus Lund controlled the tempo and added a goal of his own, while Ola Berg and Sindre Nilsen ensured the pressure told in the second half. For Sparta Sarpsborg B, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the margin from growing further, and the away side’s consolation goal was well constructed.

What the Result Means

The three points strengthen Drobak-Frogn IL’s position in the Norwegian 3.Divisjon standings and underline their home form as a major asset. For Sparta Sarpsborg B, the result is a reminder of the gap between promising passages of play and full-match consistency. The reserve side will take lessons from the attacking moments but will need a more resilient defensive display in its next fixture.

With the 2026 season moving into its closing stretch, Drobak-Frogn IL will view this 4-1 win as exactly the kind of result that builds momentum. Sparta Sarpsborg B, meanwhile, will focus on development and on turning brief positive spells into stronger 90-minute performances.
