Djerv 1919 delivered a ruthless home performance in the Norwegian 3.Divisjon, dismantling Fana 5-0 on 24 October 2026. The hosts were ahead inside the opening quarter of an hour, led 2-0 at half-time and then ran away with the match after the break, scoring three more goals to complete a resounding victory that underlined their attacking quality and Fana’s defensive vulnerability.

Match overview

Djerv 1919 started with purpose and never allowed Fana to settle. Their pressing forced early mistakes, and the opening goal gave the home side confidence to play with freedom. A second goal before the interval put Djerv in complete control, and when the third arrived early in the second half, Fana’s resistance faded. The visitors struggled to keep possession and were repeatedly exposed by Djerv’s quick transitions, with the final scoreline reflecting the home side’s dominance from start to finish.

• 11th minute: Djerv 1919 took the lead with a close-range finish after winning the ball high up the pitch.

Tactical story

Djerv 1919’s intensity without the ball set the platform for the win. They pressed Fana’s defenders into rushed clearances and won the second ball consistently in midfield. With Fana reduced to ten men just before the hour, the spaces widened and Djerv took full advantage, moving the ball from side to side before attacking the box. Fana attempted to defend deeper, but the constant pressure and quick ball circulation proved impossible to contain.

Standout performers

Djerv’s forward line was relentless, with the centre-forward involved in several goals and the wide players constantly stretching Fana’s defence. The midfield trio controlled the rhythm and ensured the home side maintained their tempo even after building a comfortable lead. Fana’s goalkeeper made a handful of saves to keep the score from becoming even more one-sided, but the visitors’ outfield performance lacked the aggression needed to compete.

Season impact

The emphatic win strengthens Djerv 1919’s position in the Norwegian 3.Divisjon promotion race and sends a clear message about their scoring potential. For Fana, the 0-5 defeat is a damaging result that leaves them with serious defensive questions to answer. Djerv can build on a performance full of energy and finishing, while Fana must quickly find a way to become harder to break down.
