ZFK AS Junajted Struga Women 3-0 ZFK Recica Women: Ruthless Home Display Secures Three Points

ZFK AS Junajted Struga Women delivered a commanding performance in the North Macedonia Women’s League on 25 October 2026, defeating ZFK Recica Women 3-0 at home. The result gave Struga a deserved three points and a clean sheet, underlining their control from the opening exchanges to the final whistle.

Match Overview

Struga set the tone early with aggressive pressing and quick ball circulation, forcing Recica into a deep defensive shape. The home side dominated possession and created the clearer chances, while Recica looked to threaten on the counter but struggled to sustain attacks in the final third.

The breakthrough arrived after a sustained spell of pressure, and Struga added further goals to turn their territorial advantage into a convincing scoreline. A solid defensive display ensured Recica were kept at bay, with the home goalkeeper rarely tested despite some late efforts from the visitors.

Key Moments

• Struga opened the scoring after an extended period of possession, breaking through with a well-worked attacking move.
• The home side doubled their advantage before the interval, capitalising on a quick transition and poor clearance.
• Recica’s best spell came early in the second half, but Struga’s back line dealt with crosses and set pieces comfortably.
• A third goal after the restart ended any realistic hope of a comeback and allowed Struga to manage the closing stages with confidence.

Tactical Story

Struga’s midfield controlled the rhythm of the game, winning second balls and feeding the wide areas regularly. Their full-backs pushed high, creating overloads that stretched Recica’s defensive block. Recica attempted to stay compact through the middle, but the constant switching of play left gaps that Struga exploited.

Without the ball, Struga pressed in coordinated bursts and forced Recica into long passes. That approach limited the visitors’ ability to build momentum and kept the game in the home side’s preferred territory for long stretches.

Standout Performers

Struga’s central midfield pair were influential in both phases, breaking up play and linking defence with attack. The home defence deserved credit for a composed clean-sheet performance, while the attacking unit shared the creative burden and kept Recica under pressure throughout.

Season Impact

The win adds three valuable points and improves Struga’s goal difference in the North Macedonia Women’s League. It also provides momentum ahead of their next fixtures, while Recica will need to regroup and find more attacking fluency after a difficult away outing.
