Osogovo and Gorno Lisice Finish All Square in 1-1 Draw

FK Osogovo and FK Gorno Lisice played out a 1-1 draw in the North Macedonia Second Football League on 10 October 2026. It was a hard-fought encounter in which both teams had periods of superiority, but neither could find the winning goal.

Match Overview

Osogovo began the match with purpose, pressing high and looking to force mistakes in the Gorno Lisice defence. Their early pressure paid off with an opening goal, but the visitors responded well. Gorno Lisice grew into the game, equalised before half-time and then produced a disciplined second-half display to keep the score level.

Both teams had chances to win it after the break. Osogovo pushed men forward in search of a second goal, while Gorno Lisice looked dangerous on the counter-attack. In the end, a share of the points was probably the right outcome for a match that was closely contested from start to finish.

Key Moments

• 11th minute: Osogovo took the lead with a low drive from just outside the box after a short corner.
• 27th minute: Gorno Lisice forced a smart save from the Osogovo goalkeeper with a curling effort.
• 42nd minute: Gorno Lisice equalised with a header from a cross on the right.
• 61st minute: Osogovo hit the post after a quick break.
• 76th minute: Gorno Lisice had a goal ruled out for offside.
• 89th minute: Osogovo’s last chance was blocked in a crowded penalty area.

Tactical Story

Osogovo lined up with an energetic midfield and looked to win the ball high up the pitch. Their goal came from a well-rehearsed set-piece routine, and they continued to press for a second. However, as the game wore on, their intensity dropped slightly, allowing Gorno Lisice to play through the lines more easily.

Gorno Lisice were compact and organised, defending deep when necessary and attacking with purpose on the break. Their equaliser came from a wide delivery, an area they targeted throughout. In the second half, they managed the game well, slowing the tempo and limiting Osogovo’s clear chances. The disallowed goal was a close call, but the visitors could not find a winner.

Standout Players

Osogovo’s goalkeeper made two important saves, including a one-on-one stop in the second half. The midfielder who scored the opening goal was their most creative outlet, constantly looking to play forward. For Gorno Lisice, the right-back was excellent going forward and delivered the cross for the equaliser, while the centre-back pair dealt with late pressure calmly.

Table Impact and What It Means

The draw adds another point to both clubs’ tallies in the North Macedonia Second Football League. Osogovo will feel they did enough to win, especially with the chances created in the second half, but they lacked the final finish. Gorno Lisice, meanwhile, will be satisfied with an away point and a resilient performance.

As the season progresses, matches like this can shape the mood around a squad. Osogovo need to turn dominance into wins, while Gorno Lisice can build on a solid defensive display. Both teams remain involved in the battle for position in a tightly packed league table.
