Vlazrimi Struga produced a commanding home performance in the North Macedonia First Football League, defeating FK Skopje 4-0 on 24 October 2026. The result delivered a decisive three points for the hosts and a major boost to their goal difference, while leaving FK Skopje with plenty to reflect on after a difficult evening.

Match overview

Vlazrimi Struga set the tone early and never allowed FK Skopje to settle into a comfortable rhythm. The home side played with energy and purpose, pressing forward in numbers and using the width of the pitch to stretch the visitors’ defensive shape. FK Skopje attempted to stay compact and absorb pressure, but the sheer volume of Vlazrimi Struga’s attacking play eventually told.

The scoreline reflected the balance of the contest. Vlazrimi Struga were sharper in the final third, more aggressive in midfield and far more convincing in the key duels. The 4-0 victory was not merely a win; it was a statement performance that underlined the team’s ability to turn territorial control into goals.

How the game unfolded

The opening goal gave Vlazrimi Struga the confidence to push on. Once ahead, the hosts refused to sit back and continued to ask questions of the FK Skopje back line. Their movement between the lines created space, and their willingness to shoot from promising positions kept the visitors’ goalkeeper busy.

After the interval, Vlazrimi Struga raised the intensity again. The second and third goals effectively removed any hope of an FK Skopje comeback, and the fourth late on completed a thoroughly deserved win. The clean sheet added further value to the performance, giving the home side a complete result at both ends of the pitch.

Tactical story

Vlazrimi Struga’s approach was built on quick ball circulation and aggressive midfield pressing. By winning second balls and forcing FK Skopje into rushed clearances, the hosts were able to sustain attacks and pin their opponents deep. The full-backs pushed high, creating overloads on the flanks, while the midfielders controlled the tempo in central areas.

FK Skopje’s plan appeared to rely on a low block and counter-attacks, but the visitors struggled to hold possession long enough to relieve pressure. When they did break forward, the final pass was often hurried or cut out by a well-positioned Vlazrimi Struga defence. The home side’s discipline without the ball was just as impressive as their fluency with it.

Standout performers and key takeaways

• Midfield control: Vlazrimi Struga dominated the central areas, winning loose balls and recycling possession quickly.
• Defensive discipline: The clean sheet was built on compact positioning and strong individual defending in one-on-one situations.
• Clinical finishing: The hosts made their best chances count and kept the pressure on throughout the second half.
• FK Skopje’s response: The visitors showed brief flashes on the counter but could not find the composure needed to slow the game down.

Season impact

The three points and four-goal swing are significant for Vlazrimi Struga in the North Macedonia First Football League table. Goal difference can prove decisive over the course of a season, and a result of this nature gives the team momentum as well as margin for error in the race for position.

For FK Skopje, the priority is to reset quickly. A heavy away defeat can damage confidence, but the response in the next fixture will matter more than the scoreline itself. Vlazrimi Struga, meanwhile, will look to build on a performance that combined attacking ruthlessness with defensive solidity.

This was a match that answered plenty of questions about Vlazrimi Struga’s quality and left FK Skopje searching for solutions. In the broader story of the North Macedonia First Football League season, it is the kind of result that can shape momentum for weeks to come.
