Teteks Tetovo U19 0-4 Bregalnica Stip U19: Visitors Dominate North Macedonia Youth Fixture

Bregalnica Stip U19 delivered a statement performance in the NM U19 league on Sunday, sweeping aside Teteks Tetovo U19 with a commanding 4-0 victory. The visitors were faster, stronger and far more clinical across the ninety minutes, and the result rarely looked in doubt once they had taken the lead.

Youth football is often unpredictable, but this one followed a clear script: Bregalnica pressed aggressively from the first whistle, won the ball high up the pitch, and converted their chances with the kind of composure that suggests several of these players are knocking on the door of senior football.

Both clubs have proud traditions in North Macedonian football, and their youth sides are an important part of that identity. Bregalnica's academy has built a reputation for producing physically robust, tactically disciplined players, while Teteks have long relied on a technical, possession-based approach at youth level. On this occasion, the physical and pressing game won out decisively.

Key Moments

The breakthrough arrived midway through the first half, and it came from the pressing game Bregalnica had clearly worked on. A hurried clearance from the Teteks defence was intercepted on the edge of the area, and Andrej Stojanovski rifled the ball into the bottom corner to make it 1-0.

Stojanovski doubled his tally shortly before the interval, arriving at the back post to convert a low cross from the left. That second goal was the moment the match turned from competitive into one-sided — Teteks' heads dropped, and Bregalnica sensed the opportunity to run up the score.

The third came early in the second half, Bojan Trajkovski finishing calmly after a driving run through the middle of the pitch. Substitute David Iliev added the fourth late on, capping a flowing counter-attacking move that covered the length of the field in a matter of seconds.

Tactical Story

Bregalnica Stip U19 set up in a compact mid-block that invited Teteks to play out from the back — and then pounced the moment the ball entered wide areas. The wingers and central midfielders worked in tandem to trap the ball near the touchline, forcing turnovers in dangerous positions. Three of the four goals originated from regains in the attacking half.

Teteks Tetovo U19 were not without ideas. They showed flashes of neat combination play in the middle third and created two presentable chances in the first half. But their build-up was too slow to stretch a well-organised Bregalnica defence, and when they did get forward, they were repeatedly undone by quick transitions going the other way.

Standout Performers

• Andrej Stojanovski (Bregalnica Stip U19): Two goals, sharp movement and excellent link-up play.
• Bojan Trajkovski (Bregalnica Stip U19): Powerful ball-carrying from midfield and a well-taken goal.
• David Iliev (Bregalnica Stip U19): Made an immediate impact from the bench with the fourth goal.
• Teteks Tetovo U19 goalkeeper: Kept the deficit from growing with a string of second-half stops.

Season Impact

For Bregalnica Stip U19, this is the kind of result that builds momentum in a youth league where consistency separates the contenders from the rest. A four-goal away win, combined with a clean sheet, will do wonders for confidence and goal difference as the table begins to take shape.

Teteks Tetovo U19 will view it as a learning experience. Youth sides are judged as much on development as on results, and the challenge now for the coaching staff is to rebuild belief quickly. The fundamentals are there — the technical quality in midfield was evident — but the team must learn to handle aggressive pressing and protect possession in their own half.

What's Next

Bregalnica Stip U19 will look to extend their strong run in their next NM U19 outing, with the club's senior setup no doubt monitoring several of Sunday's standout names. Teteks Tetovo U19, meanwhile, will target a response in their next fixture as they work to climb the youth standings and restore some confidence after a difficult afternoon at home.
