FC Chisinau Women Run Riot in 6-1 Moldova Women's Cup Triumph

FC Chisinau Women produced a dominant attacking display to beat Real Succes-SS11 Women 6-1 in the Moldova Women's Cup on Thursday evening, booking their progress with a performance that showcased both the depth of their squad and the ruthlessness of their finishing. Six goals from a spread of scorers underlined exactly why the Chisinau side are regarded as one of the strongest teams in Moldovan women's football.

Cup football in Moldova has become an increasingly important platform for the women's game, offering clubs outside the traditional title contenders a chance to test themselves against the country's leading sides. On this occasion, the gap in quality was clear — but Real Succes-SS11 never stopped competing, and their consolation goal was a deserved reward for a spirited second-half effort.

Match Overview

• Competition: Moldova Women's Cup
• Fixture: FC Chisinau (W) vs Real Succes-SS11 Women
• Kick-off: 15 October 2026, 20:00 local time

How the Match Unfolded

FC Chisinau set the tone from the opening whistle. Pressing high and moving the ball quickly through midfield, they pinned their opponents deep inside their own half and created chances at a steady rate. The early goals arrived from exactly that pressure, forcing Real Succes-SS11 into a defensive shape that struggled to cope with the hosts' movement between the lines.

By the interval the contest was effectively settled, with FC Chisinau having built a commanding advantage through a combination of incisive passing and clinical finishing. Real Succes-SS11's best moments came on the counter-attack, where their forward players showed pace and directness that briefly troubled the Chisinau back line.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with FC Chisinau continuing to dominate possession and add to their tally. Real Succes-SS11, to their credit, kept pushing and were rewarded with a goal of their own — a moment that drew genuine appreciation from the crowd and offered a reminder that the scoreline did not reflect the entirety of the contest. The hosts restored their authority quickly, however, and closed out the match with two further goals to complete the rout.

Tactical Story

FC Chisinau's dominance stemmed from their control of midfield. By winning the ball back quickly and recycling possession with intent, they denied Real Succes-SS11 any sustained platform to build from. Their attacking play featured constant rotation — wingers drifting inside, full-backs pushing high, and midfielders arriving late in the box — which made them extremely difficult to mark man-for-man.

Real Succes-SS11's challenge was structural. Facing a side with superior technical quality, they were forced to defend deep, which invited pressure and left their forwards isolated. Their goal came from their one reliable outlet: fast, direct transitions when Chisinau committed numbers forward.

Standout Performers

• FC Chisinau's forward line: sharp, unselfish and ruthless in front of goal across the full 90 minutes.
• FC Chisinau's midfield creators: dictated tempo and repeatedly split the opposition defence.
• FC Chisinau's overlapping full-backs: provided relentless width and a steady supply of crosses.
• Real Succes-SS11's goalkeeper: made a series of saves that prevented an even heavier defeat.

What's Next

Progress in the Moldova Women's Cup sets FC Chisinau up for a deeper run in the competition, and a performance of this quality sends a clear message to the other remaining clubs. With domestic league commitments running alongside the cup, squad depth will be tested — but the spread of goalscorers on show here suggests they are well equipped to handle a congested calendar.

For Real Succes-SS11 Women, the result is a difficult one, but the experience of facing one of Moldova's leading sides is valuable. Their second-half response, capped by a well-taken goal, showed character. If they can bring that level of commitment into their league fixtures, they will remain a competitive force in the domestic game.
