Real Sireti 1-2 FC Milsami: Milsami Come From Behind in Moldovan Super Liga

FC Milsami produced a composed comeback to defeat Real Sireti 2-1 in the Moldovan Super Liga on Sunday evening. After falling behind early, Milsami responded with two goals and controlled much of the contest, securing an important away win in their pursuit of the league’s leading positions.

Real Sireti made a bright start and briefly threatened an upset, but Milsami’s experience and superior squad depth told over the course of the 90 minutes. The result leaves Real Sireti with plenty of positives from their attacking intent, but also with the familiar frustration of letting a lead slip.

Match Overview

The home side began with energy and took a surprising lead, capitalising on a defensive lapse and finishing with confidence. That goal woke Milsami up, and from that point onward the visitors dominated possession, pushing their full-backs high and overloading the midfield.

Milsami equalised before half-time with a well-placed shot from the edge of the area, then took the lead in the second half after sustained pressure. Real Sireti tried to respond, but Milsami’s defensive structure limited them to half-chances and long-range efforts.

Key Moments

• Real Sireti opener: The home team struck first, punishing a moment of hesitation in the Milsami defence.
• Milsami equaliser: A measured finish from outside the box brought the visitors back on level terms before the break.
• Second-half winner: Milsami completed the turnaround with a goal created by a quick overlap and a low cross into the box.
• Late resistance: Real Sireti pushed forward in the final minutes, but Milsami’s goalkeeper dealt comfortably with crosses and set pieces.

Tactical Story

Milsami’s comeback was built on patience and positional discipline. After conceding, they did not panic. Instead, they increased the tempo of their passing, moved the ball from side to side, and waited for gaps to appear. Their midfield trio was particularly effective, winning second balls and allowing the team to sustain attacks.

Real Sireti defended in a compact block for much of the first half, but as the game wore on, they struggled to track runners from deep. Milsami’s wide players stretched the defence, creating space for the central midfielders to arrive late in the box. That pattern produced the decisive goal.

Standout Players

Milsami’s playmaker was at the heart of the comeback, linking midfield and attack with sharp passing and intelligent movement. The goalscorer who equalised showed excellent technique, while the full-back who provided the assist for the winner was a constant threat going forward.

For Real Sireti, the opening goalscorer was their brightest spark, and their goalkeeper made several good saves to keep the scoreline close. The defence, however, will review the second goal closely, as Milsami were allowed too much space in the penalty area.

Table Impact and What’s Next

The victory keeps FC Milsami in a strong position in the Moldovan Super Liga table, maintaining pressure on the teams above them. Coming from behind away from home is a valuable trait for any title-chasing side, and Milsami will view this as another step in the right direction.

Real Sireti remain in need of points, but their performance showed they can compete for spells against established opposition. Turning promising starts into full 90-minute displays will be the next challenge. Both sides now prepare for their next league fixtures, with Milsami looking to build momentum and Real Sireti searching for a response.
