Arsenal Tivat U19 1-2 Texi U19 — Texi U19 claimed a hard-fought 2-1 away win over Arsenal Tivat U19 in the Montenegro U19 League on September 20, 2026, using a disciplined defensive display and a late goal to take all three points from a tight contest.

The match at Arsenal Tivat’s home ground was played at a brisk pace from the opening whistle. Arsenal Tivat U19 looked to impose themselves early, pushing bodies forward and trying to stretch the Texi defence with wide combinations. Texi U19, however, were compact, patient and dangerous on the counter, and that approach paid off midway through the first half.

Match overview

Texi took the lead in the 23rd minute when captain Luka Vuković arrived at the edge of the box to meet a half-cleared corner. His low drive found the bottom corner and silenced the home support. Arsenal responded well, controlling more of the ball before the break, but they struggled to turn possession into clear chances against a deep and organised Texi back line.

Arsenal Tivat U19 finally found their equaliser in the 54th minute. Nikola Perović, their most lively attacker, darted between two defenders and slotted a composed finish past the goalkeeper after a clever through ball. At that point, the momentum seemed to be with the home side, and a second goal looked likely.

Tactical story

Texi’s midfield trio sat deeper after taking the lead, inviting pressure and then breaking at speed. The winning goal was a perfect example: a regained ball in midfield, two quick passes and a decisive run from Jovanović.

Arsenal will look back at their inability to create enough clear chances during their best spell. They dominated territory in the second half but often settled for crosses into a crowded box. Texi’s goalkeeper Stefan Radović was well protected, and when called upon he dealt confidently with set pieces and long shots.
