Rudar led for much of the game, but KOM Podgorica fought back to claim a point that could matter at the end of the season.

The result leaves both clubs in the thick of the race for promotion to the Montenegrin top flight. Rudar, a club with a proud top-division history, will feel they should have taken all three points, while KOM showed resilience to equalise and hold on under late pressure.

Match Overview

Their reward came in the 22nd minute when Miloš Radulović scored with a composed finish inside the penalty area. The home side continued to create half-chances, but KOM gradually settled and began to find space on the counter-attack.

The second half was more balanced. KOM pushed more players forward and equalised in the 71st minute through Nikola Vuković, whose shot found the corner after a neat passing move. Tactical Story

The equaliser changed the mood of the game. Rudar had to re-engage and finished the stronger side, but KOM’s defensive organisation in the closing stages was impressive. Both teams showed why they are considered promotion contenders: Rudar have quality in possession, while KOM have fight and tactical flexibility.

Standout Players

Miloš Radulović was Rudar’s most dangerous player, linking play and taking his goal well. Their goalkeeper also made a crucial save late on. For KOM Podgorica, Nikola Vuković’s equaliser was the headline moment, but their captain controlled the tempo after half-time and helped the team grow into the match. The KOM goalkeeper deserved credit for a series of confident claims under pressure.
