The home side were in control from the first whistle, scoring twice in each half to secure a comfortable and thoroughly deserved victory.

Match Overview

Rudar Pljevlja, one of the most storied clubs in Montenegrin football, started brightly and never looked back. They opened the scoring inside the first twenty minutes with a clinical finish, and doubled their lead before half-time after a period of sustained pressure. Berane struggled to keep possession and were repeatedly undone by Rudar's quick passing and intelligent movement. The second half followed a similar pattern, with Rudar adding two more goals to complete a comprehensive rout.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: Rudar took the lead with a low drive from the edge of the box after a neat build-up.
• Second goal: A header from a corner made it 2-0 before the interval.
• Second-half blitz: Rudar scored twice in quick succession early in the second half to put the game beyond doubt.
• Clean sheet: The Rudar defence remained focused throughout, limiting Berane to very few chances.

Tactical Story

Rudar lined up in an attacking 4-3-3 and overwhelmed Berane with their pressing and width. The midfield trio dominated the centre of the pitch, allowing the full-backs to push high and deliver a stream of crosses into the box. Berane tried to sit deep and counter, but they were unable to hold onto the ball long enough to relieve the pressure. Once Rudar scored their third, the visitors' resistance crumbled, and the home side cruised to the final whistle.

Standout Players

Rudar's front three were a constant menace, with Miloš Đukanović scoring twice and Stefan Radović adding a goal and an assist. In midfield, Nikola Jovović controlled the tempo and won possession repeatedly. For Berane, goalkeeper Luka Đurišić made several saves to keep the score from becoming even more lopsided, while captain Marko Peković never stopped running despite the scoreline.
