Decic Tuzi claimed a 2-0 home victory over Otrant in the Montenegro First League on 30 October 2026, producing a controlled performance that combined early authority with a composed second-half finish. The three points gave the hosts a valuable boost in the league table and extended their encouraging run on home soil.

Match overview

Decic Tuzi set the tone from the opening exchanges, pressing Otrant high and forcing the visitors into hurried clearances. The home side’s midfield kept the ball moving quickly, while the wide players stretched the Otrant defence and created space between the lines. Otrant looked to respond on the counter, but their attacks were often isolated and lacked the final pass.

The breakthrough arrived in the first half when Decic turned sustained possession into a lead. A neat move down the right opened up the penalty area, and the finish was calm enough to settle the home crowd. Otrant tried to push forward before the interval, but Decic’s back line remained compact and protected the central areas well.

Key moments

The second goal effectively decided the contest. After the restart, Otrant enjoyed a brief spell of pressure, but Decic weathered it and struck again with a well-worked attacking sequence. The home side’s movement pulled the visiting defence out of shape, and the finishing touch made it 2-0.

Otrant’s best chances came from set pieces and a couple of hurried efforts from distance, but Decic’s goalkeeper dealt with them comfortably. The hosts managed the closing stages intelligently, slowing the tempo and keeping the ball in areas where Otrant could not mount a consistent comeback.

Tactical story

Decic Tuzi’s victory was built on balance. They were aggressive without being reckless, winning second balls in midfield and using quick switches of play to test Otrant’s defensive shape. The back four held a disciplined line, while the midfield screen prevented Otrant from finding easy space in front of the defence.

Otrant, by contrast, struggled to sustain possession. Their transitions were quick but too often ended with a hopeful cross or a shot from an unpromising angle. Once Decic scored first, the visitors had to commit more players forward, which only created more room for the home side’s counter-attacks.

Standout performers and season impact

Decic’s midfield unit deserved credit for controlling the rhythm of the game, and the defence earned a clean sheet that underlined the team’s growing solidity. The forwards also worked hard without the ball, forcing Otrant into mistakes high up the pitch.

The 2-0 result adds important momentum to Decic Tuzi’s Montenegro First League campaign. For Otrant, it is a reminder that away fixtures in this division demand greater composure in possession and sharper decision-making in the final third. Decic will look to build on the clean sheet and the three points, while Otrant must regroup quickly ahead of their next league test.
