Skorost Edge Radhaswami 3-2 in Five-Goal Mumbai Super Division Thriller

Skorost secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Radhaswami in the India Mumbai Super Division on Friday, 30 October 2026, winning a five-goal contest that swung back and forth before the home side found the decisive moment in the closing stages. The result gives Skorost three valuable points and strengthens their position in the upper half of the table, while Radhaswami were left to rue a spirited performance that ultimately yielded nothing.

The match was played at a lively tempo from the outset, with both teams committed to attacking football. Skorost looked to use the width of the pitch and get bodies into the box, while Radhaswami were dangerous on the counter and refused to let the game slip away after falling behind.

Match Overview

Skorost made the brighter start and were rewarded with the opening goal after a period of sustained pressure. Their midfield moved the ball quickly, drawing Radhaswami out of shape before finding space in the final third. The early breakthrough gave the home side confidence, but Radhaswami responded well and began to find gaps of their own.

The equaliser arrived as Radhaswami grew into the contest, capitalising on a loose ball and finishing with composure. That set the tone for an open first half. Skorost restored their advantage before the interval, punishing a defensive lapse with a well-worked move that ended with a close-range finish.

Radhaswami refused to fold. They pushed forward after the break and levelled the score once again, setting up a tense final period. With the game seemingly heading for a draw, Skorost found one more attacking burst and scored the winner, sparking celebrations among the home supporters.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: Skorost's early pressure paid off when a quick attacking move opened up the Radhaswami defence.
• Radhaswami equaliser: The visitors responded with a composed finish after winning the ball in a dangerous area.
• Skorost regain the lead: A sharp passing sequence before half-time put Skorost back in front and shifted the momentum.
• Second equaliser: Radhaswami came out strongly after the break and found a way through to make it 2-2.
• Late winner: Skorost pushed forward in the final stages and found the decisive goal, sealing a dramatic 3-2 win.

Tactical Story

Skorost's approach was built on quick ball movement and aggressive pressing in the middle third. They tried to win possession high up the pitch and turn those moments into immediate attacks. That strategy worked well in patches, especially during the first half, when Radhaswami struggled to play through the initial pressure.

Radhaswami, however, were effective when they managed to bypass the press. Their best moments came from direct running and quick combinations in wide areas, which stretched Skorost's back line and created space for shots from the edge of the box. The visitors' equalisers were evidence of their resilience and ability to adapt within the game.

The decisive difference came in the final stages. Skorost kept pushing rather than settling for a point, and their willingness to commit players forward paid off with the winning goal. Radhaswami, who had defended bravely for much of the second half, were unable to hold out against the late surge.

Standout Performers

Skorost's midfield was central to their success, controlling the rhythm of the game and providing the platform for their attacking moves. The forward line worked tirelessly, pressing defenders and creating chances through intelligent movement. At the back, there were nervous moments, but the defence made several important clearances when Radhaswami threatened to take control.

For Radhaswami, the attacking players were the standout performers. Their movement caused problems throughout, and both goals came from positive, forward-thinking play. The goalkeeper also made a number of saves to keep the visitors in the contest, but the late winner left them with no time to respond.

Table and Season Impact

The 3-2 win gives Skorost three important points in the India Mumbai Super Division and adds momentum to their campaign. In a competitive local league where every result can shift the standings, victories in tight matches like this one are often the difference between a strong season and a mediocre one.

Radhaswami leave with no points despite a determined display. Their ability to score twice away from home will be encouraging, but the manner of the defeat will sting. The team will need to tighten up in the closing stages of matches if they are to convert spirited performances into results.
