FormaFutIntegral AC and Valle de Xico FC shared the points after a 1-1 draw in the Mexican TDP League on October 18, 2026, with the visitors equalizing in the second half after the hosts had taken an early lead. The match was competitive and physical, with both sides creating enough chances to win it. In the end, a point apiece felt like a fair reflection of a closely fought contest.

Match overview

FormaFutIntegral AC started with purpose, pressing high and trying to force mistakes in Valle de Xico’s build-up. The hosts were rewarded with the opening goal, which gave them confidence and control for much of the first half. Valle de Xico responded gradually, tightening their midfield and finding more joy in wide areas as the game progressed.

The second half was more open. FormaFutIntegral looked to protect their lead while still threatening on the counter, but Valle de Xico pushed more players forward and eventually found the equalizer. Both teams had late chances to win it, but neither could find the finishing touch in the final minutes.

Key moments

• Hosts take the lead: FormaFutIntegral’s early pressure paid off with the opening goal, giving them a 1-0 advantage and a platform to control the tempo.
• Valle de Xico’s response: The visitors adjusted their shape, won more possession in midfield and began to create chances from wide deliveries and second balls.
• Second-half equalizer: Valle de Xico’s persistence was rewarded when they broke through after the interval, leveling the score and setting up a tense finish.
• Late chances: Both goalkeepers were called into action in the closing stages, and a final push from each side narrowly failed to produce a winner.

Tactical story

The game was a classic TDP League battle of intensity and direct play. FormaFutIntegral AC tried to impose themselves early, using pressure and quick forward passes to unsettle Valle de Xico’s defense. Their opening goal came from that approach, and for a while it looked as though the hosts would manage the game on their own terms.

Valle de Xico’s adjustment was important. They became more compact in midfield, forced FormaFutIntegral to play wider and then used their own wide players to stretch the home defense. The equalizer came from sustained pressure rather than a single moment of magic, and it forced FormaFutIntegral to rethink their approach for the final half-hour.

Standout players and season impact

Both goalkeepers made important saves, particularly in the second half when the game opened up. The goalscorers deserve credit for taking their chances in a match where clear openings were not always easy to find. FormaFutIntegral’s midfield worked hard to control the first half, while Valle de Xico’s defenders and wide players grew into the contest after the break.

The draw gives each side a point in the Mexican TDP League and keeps both involved in what is likely to be a tightly packed group. For FormaFutIntegral AC, there will be frustration at letting a lead slip; for Valle de Xico FC, the comeback showed resilience and improved control. Neither side will be completely satisfied, but both showed enough to suggest they can stay competitive.
