Gorilas de Juanacatlán 6-2 Heroes de Zaci CDMX — MEX LPS B produced its most emphatic scoreline of the round as Gorilas de Juanacatlán dismantled Heroes de Zaci CDMX 6-2 in a match that turned into a relentless attacking exhibition after a bright start from the visitors.

Eight Goals and a Statement Victory

Liga Premier Serie B is a division where home advantage is real and goals often decide the mood of a season. Gorilas de Juanacatlán delivered a performance that will be remembered well beyond the weekend, scoring six times in front of their own supporters and sending a clear message about their attacking credentials.

The visitors from Mexico City actually began the brighter of the two sides, pressing aggressively and forcing early turnovers in the Gorilas half. That pressure produced the opening goal of the game and, briefly, a sense that an upset might be on the cards.

The Tide Turns

It did not last long. Gorilas responded with a wave of attacking football that Heroes de Zaci simply could not contain. The equaliser came from a quick combination through the middle, and once the home side had their rhythm, the match became one-way traffic.

By the interval the scoreline had already taken on a lopsided look. Gorilas' wide players stretched the visiting back line to breaking point, dragging defenders out of position and opening the central corridor for late runners. The third and fourth goals both arrived from that exact pattern — width, then a cut-back, then a finish inside the six-yard box.

Second-Half Collapse and Fightback

Heroes de Zaci did show character after the break. They pulled a goal back with a well-taken strike from the edge of the area and enjoyed a short spell of pressure, but any hope of a comeback was extinguished almost immediately as Gorilas restored their four-goal cushion within minutes.

The closing stages were played at a walking pace for the home side, who were content to keep possession and run the clock down. A sixth goal late on added the final flourish, capping a night in which nearly every attacking idea the coaching staff had drawn up came off.

Key Takeaways

• Ruthless finishing: Gorilas converted a high proportion of their chances, turning pressure into goals rather than half-chances.
• Width as a weapon: Both flanks produced assists and goals, stretching Heroes de Zaci beyond their limits.
• Set-piece edge: Two of the six goals came from dead-ball situations, a sign of well-drilled routines.
• Defensive concern: Conceding twice at home will give the coaching staff something concrete to work on despite the win.

Standout Performers

Gorilas' centre-forward was the obvious headline act, leading the line with intelligent movement and clinical finishing, while the attacking midfielder behind him was the creative engine, finding pockets of space between the lines repeatedly and linking every phase of play.

For Heroes de Zaci CDMX, it was a difficult evening, but their goalkeeper made several sharp stops that prevented the scoreline from becoming even more severe, and their forward's goal was a well-executed piece of individual quality on an otherwise punishing night.

What It Means for the Season

A 6-2 win does more than add three points. It builds goal difference, boosts confidence and makes opponents approach the return fixture with a very different mindset. For Gorilas de Juanacatlán, the challenge now is consistency — turning a spectacular home performance into a run of results that carries the club up the MEX LPS B table.

For Heroes de Zaci CDMX, the priority is defensive structure. Conceding six on the road is a result that demands a response, and the coaching staff will be looking for a far more compact, disciplined display in their next outing as they try to climb away from the wrong end of the standings.
