Tactical story

Eibar Women’s high pressing was effective in the first half, forcing Madrid CFF into hurried passes and creating turnovers in dangerous areas. However, the aggressive approach also left space behind the midfield, which Madrid CFF exploited as the game wore on.

Madrid CFF’s strength was in possession. The visitors kept the ball patiently, drew Eibar forward and then looked for quick combinations in the final third. Their late equalizer was a reward for persistence and for continuing to believe in their passing game.
