Al Jazira FC delivered a ruthless away performance to thrash Sporty 6-0 in the Kuwaiti First Division League on 24 October 2026, with a dominant first-half display setting up a statement victory. The visitors scored three times before the break and added three more in the second half, showcasing clinical finishing and overwhelming attacking pressure. For Sporty, it was a difficult night at home, while Al Jazira FC strengthened their position with a result that will be remembered for its scoreline and control.

Match overview

From the opening whistle, Al Jazira FC looked sharper in possession and more aggressive in the press. Sporty tried to settle into the game by keeping the ball in midfield, but the visitors won it back quickly and attacked with purpose. The early goal gave Al Jazira FC confidence, and they never allowed Sporty to establish any rhythm or sustained pressure of their own.

By half-time, the contest was already firmly in Al Jazira’s hands. The away side led 3-0 and had created several additional chances, while Sporty’s defence struggled to cope with quick combinations and runs in behind. The second half brought more of the same: Al Jazira FC managed the game intelligently, kept their shape and punished Sporty’s attempts to push forward.

Key moments

• Al Jazira FC opened the scoring early through Yousef Al-Harbi, who finished calmly after a quick attacking move.
• Fahad Al-Mutairi doubled the lead with a composed finish, capping a spell of sustained pressure from the visitors.
• Abdulrahman Al-Saleh made it 3-0 before half-time, effectively ending Sporty’s hopes of a comeback.
• Al-Harbi added his second after the break, before Al-Mutairi also completed a brace with another well-taken goal.
• Mohammed Al-Enezi completed the rout late on, ensuring Al Jazira FC finished with a six-goal margin and a clean sheet.

Tactical story

Al Jazira FC’s performance was built on aggressive pressing and fast ball movement. Their midfield won second balls consistently, allowing the attacking players to receive possession in dangerous areas. Sporty attempted to play out from the back, but frequent turnovers gave Al Jazira FC repeated opportunities to attack before the home defence could reorganise.

The visitors also used width effectively, stretching Sporty’s back line and creating space between the full-backs and centre-backs. Once Al Jazira FC took the lead, they showed excellent game management: they kept possession when needed, but remained direct and incisive whenever Sporty committed numbers forward. Defensively, Al Jazira FC were rarely troubled, and goalkeeper Rashid Al-Fadhli recorded a comfortable clean sheet behind an organised back line.

Standout players

Yousef Al-Harbi was one of the clear standout performers, scoring twice and constantly troubling Sporty with his movement. Fahad Al-Mutairi matched him with a brace and linked play well between midfield and attack. Abdulrahman Al-Saleh controlled the tempo and capped his display with a goal, while Mohammed Al-Enezi made a late impact off the bench. For Sporty, there were few positives on a difficult evening, though their goalkeeper made several saves to prevent the margin from becoming even larger.

League impact

The 6-0 win gives Al Jazira FC three valuable points and a significant boost to their goal difference in the Kuwaiti First Division League standings. Such a convincing away victory sends a strong message about their attacking potential and will raise confidence ahead of their next fixture. It also underlines the importance of converting dominant spells into goals, something Al Jazira FC did with impressive efficiency.

For Sporty, the result is a setback that will require a quick response. Conceding six goals at home is difficult to accept, but the focus will now shift to tightening defensive shape and restoring confidence before the next league match. Al Jazira FC, meanwhile, will look to build on a performance that combined sharp finishing, tactical discipline and ruthless momentum.
