KF Vushtrria U19 claimed a hard-fought 2-1 win over Prishtina U19 in the Kos U19 league on 27 October 2026, with a late goal settling a competitive youth fixture. Vushtrria started strongly, weathered a Prishtina response, and found the winning moment in the final stages to take all three points.

Match overview

The match was played at a good tempo, with both sides showing the energy and intensity expected from an under-19 fixture. Vushtrria U19 looked the more dangerous team early on, pressing high and attacking through the wide areas. Prishtina U19 grew into the game after conceding, equalised through a well-worked move, and briefly looked the more likely side to score next. However, Vushtrria regrouped and found a late winner that reflected their persistence.

Key moments

• 12th minute: Vushtrria took the lead when Ardit Berisha finished confidently after a quick move down the right.
• 61st minute: Prishtina U19 equalised through Lirim Krasniqi, whose shot from the edge of the area found the bottom corner.
• 84th minute: The decisive goal came from Dren Gashi, who reacted first to a loose ball in the box and fired home.

Tactical story

Vushtrria U19’s success came from their intensity without the ball. They pressed Prishtina’s defenders, forced hurried clearances, and won possession in areas where they could attack quickly. Prishtina U19 were at their best when they settled into possession and moved the ball through midfield, but they struggled to sustain that control after Vushtrria’s late push. The home side’s willingness to keep numbers forward in the closing minutes ultimately produced the winning goal.

Standout performers

Berisha’s opening goal and Gashi’s late winner were the headline moments for Vushtrria, while the midfield battle was shaped by their captain’s energy and organisation. For Prishtina U19, Krasniqi was the standout with his equaliser and his attempts to drive the team forward. Both teams showed promising individual quality in a match that will be useful for their development.
