FC Prizreni edged a remarkable Kos D2 encounter at KF Dardania on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, winning 4-3 after a breathless second half that swung one way and then the other. The visitors recovered from conceding early and then survived a late Dardania fightback to claim all three points in a match that had seven goals, momentum shifts and no shortage of drama.

The result gives FC Prizreni a valuable away win in their promotion push, while KF Dardania are left to reflect on a night of defensive frustration despite scoring three times at home.

Match Overview

KF Dardania began brightly and took the lead inside the opening 10 minutes when Ardit Krasniqi latched onto a loose ball in the box and finished calmly past the goalkeeper. FC Prizreni responded well, though. They equalised midway through the first half through Dren Hoti, whose low shot from the edge of the area found the bottom corner. Prizreni then took the lead just before half-time when Leotrim Bytyqi converted from close range after a well-worked move down the right.

Tactical Story

KF Dardania set up with an attacking intent, pushing their full-backs high and looking to dominate the ball in wide areas. That approach created chances but also left space behind the defence, which FC Prizreni exploited ruthlessly on the counter-attack. Prizreni’s midfield trio were excellent at turning defence into attack quickly, finding the front two with direct passes before Dardania’s back line could recover.

The second half became an end-to-end contest. Dardania pushed more players forward in search of an equaliser, and while they managed to score twice after the break, the extra bodies committed forward allowed Prizreni to create clear chances of their own. Prizreni’s fourth goal, scored on the break, proved to be the decisive moment, even though Dardania’s late goal ensured a nervous closing period.

Dardania’s set-piece threat was a constant problem for Prizreni, with both of Dardania’s second-half goals coming from deliveries into the box. However, Prizreni defended their lead with maturity in the final minutes, clearing their lines and slowing the tempo when required.

Standout Players

Dren Hoti was the standout performer for FC Prizreni, scoring twice and constantly stretching the Dardania defence with his movement. Leotrim Bytyqi also impressed with his energy and link-up play, while Gentrit Rexhepi’s goal capped a strong all-round display in midfield.

For KF Dardania, Ardit Krasniqi led the line well and took his goal confidently, while Blerim Gashi’s header and Endrit Berisha’s late strike kept the home side alive. Despite the defeat, their attacking display showed why they remain a dangerous opponent in Kos D2.

What the Result Means

The win strengthens FC Prizreni’s position in the Kos D2 standings and underlines their ability to win away from home in high-scoring matches. For KF Dardania, the defeat highlights the need to find a better balance between attacking ambition and defensive security, particularly when protecting leads or chasing games at home.

With both teams likely to be involved in tightly contested battles throughout the season, this seven-goal classic will be remembered as one of the more entertaining fixtures of the Kos D2 campaign. Prizreni leave with the points, but Dardania’s fighting spirit ensured the match remained in the balance until the final whistle.
