Jinju Citizen made it three wins from four matches with a comfortable 2–0 victory over Jecheon Citizen FC at Jinju Stadium. The home side controlled proceedings from start to finish and leapfrog their opponents in the K League 4 table.

Dominant First Half

Jinju opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Winger Park Hyun‑seo cut inside from the left and curled a precise effort into the far corner, giving the Jecheon goalkeeper no chance. The goal settled any early nerves for the hosts, who dominated possession and created several more openings before half‑time. Only a combination of poor finishing and good goalkeeping kept the score at 1–0.

Second Half Seal

The pressure finally told in the 67th minute. Striker Kim Tae‑hoon was brought down inside the box, and he stepped up himself to convert the penalty low to the goalkeeper’s left. Jecheon Citizen offered little in attack, managing only one shot on target throughout the 90 minutes, and Jinju comfortably saw out the game.

Defensive Solidity

Jinju’s back four, marshalled by veteran centre‑back Lee Jae‑young, kept a clean sheet for the second time this season. Jecheon’s attacking duo of Park Chan‑woo and Yoon Seok‑min were starved of service, much to the frustration of their travelling supporters.

Standings Update

The victory moves Jinju Citizen up to third place in K League 4 with ten points. Jecheon Citizen drop to eighth, seven points adrift of the early leaders. Jinju will aim to continue their upward trajectory when they face off against a mid‑table rival next round.
